Chapter 2

Austin's POV 

It's been a week since I left my house. It's now Friday. Ashley's parents have been really nice and supportive. They told me I was welcome to stay as long as needed. When I woke up Ashley was laying in her bed reading. I looked over at the clock on the nightstand and it read 11:07. Man, I must have really been tired last night. 

"Hey, you're up." Ashley said. 

"Yeah. Umm, are your parents home. I want to thank them for letting me stay here last night, since it was kind of last minute." I told her while getting dressed.

"Nah they're not home. But you do know that you don't have thank them every time you spend the night. They think of you as their own child. You are welcome here any time." she responded with a wide grin on her face.

"Thanks. But I still feel the need to thank them. They don't have to do all they do for me. But they do. I really appreciate you guys." I told her. She just smiled in return. 

"Hey even though I wasn't planning on it. I think I need to go home tonight. Don't ask me why. But I'll go home later tonight after he is already home, I'll sneak through the window. I wanna hang out with Jessie today. He's been saying how much he wants to bring me somewhere where it's just me and him." I told her. I saw a smile creeping up on her face.

"OOOO!! Little date night with Jessie!'' she said in the girliest voice I've ever heard her make. I just smiled and stuck my tongue out at her. She laughed at how childish I was being. 

Later that day Jessie called saying he would pick me up form Ashley's house at 6:00. Since It's Friday we'll probably be out late doing who knows what. The only thing I know is that it's nothing legal. But we also might just be hanging out at his house. 

He lives with his brother. And his brother is never home on weekends so it would just be me and him. And no, it's not like that. Him and I just like to hang out. Sure we kiss. Sure sometimes we make out. But it never goes past that. And he understands that, and doesn't try to force me into anything I don't want to do. 

It was 5:15 so I decided to get ready. I took a long soothing shower. It was very relaxing, but after being in there for 20 minutes I figured I would have to get out soon. After I got out I wrapped myself in a towel and walked across the hall to Ashley's room. She let me wear one of her black body tight fitted crop tops with long sleeves and a pair of my white jeans. I wore a choker and a mixture of charm bracelets Ashley, Jessie, and Dally gave me before he left. That's about at much jewelry as I wear, besides all of my piercings. I did some simple makeup, consisting of eyeliner, mascara, a little but of powder, and a dark red lipstick. I left my hair in it's natural long wavy state. I finished the look with some black converse and my leather jacket.

When I was done it was already 6:03. He'll be hear any minute. I walked downstairs to find Ashley on the couch reading a different book then before. Man, does she love to read. 

"OOO!! Someone got all dolled up for their date! Not going to lie. You look very hot right now. Jessie is going to love it." she said making kissy faces and acting like a child. All I could do was laugh at her. 

"Ok, shut up! And it's not a date. We're just going to hang out. And thank you. I do look hot don't I?" I joked with her.

"Whatever you say sweetcheeks." she said mocking me. We heard a nock on the door and Ashley sprung up. She beat me to the door. 

"Hey Jessie. Austin's ready. Have a fun time tonight." she told him with an evil smirk on her face. 

"Um ok.'' he said with a confused tone. I just smiled and giggled. I walked up to the door and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I just smiled and flipped off Ashley as we were walking out the door. All she did was give me a thumbs up. I swear she is the funniest person ever, and sometimes she can be annoying, but I love her. 

"So what's the plan for tonight?" I asked him while getting into his black mustang. Yes he drives, and yes he is 17. But we've been together for a year and a half. 

"I was thinking we could head over to Jo's for some food and then there is a party goin on at Mike's if you want to go." he told me. Jo's is this really good burger place, and Mike's is a bar. Jessie know the owner so we get in ever though we're both underaged. 

"Sounds good to me." I said with a smile. 

We got to Jo's and began to eat. We had small talk and laughed a lot, but nothing really that exciting. When we were done we headed to Mike's for the party. The place was crowded with cars and blasting music. This was going to be fun.
