Chapter 11

Austin's POV

"Dinner's ready! Come eat!" Darry yeld from the kitchen. 

I wasn't hungry. I think I was still filled from that BBQ sandwich at Dairy Queen. The last few days I've been eating more because I'm either with people or they force me too. I didn't want to seem rude and be surved, then not eat it. Soda and Pony raced to the kitchen, I just stayed put. Pony then realized I didn't move.

"Hey aren't you coming for dinner? Better get it while it's still there." Pony said.

"No I'm ok. You guys enjoy." I told him. He grabbed my arm and started to drag me to the kitchen. I tried to get away but he was stronger than me.

"No, Ponyboy I'm really not hungry." I told him. He didn't listen. We were now in the kitchen and Darry and Soda were already at the table eating. 

"Pony just go eat. I'll be fine." I begged. 

"No you need to eat. You probably haven't eaten all day." he said. He handed me a plate out of the cabinet. I took it and put the plate back. 

"Austin come on. You need to eat. Why won't you just eat something?" he said getting annoyed. 

I don't like eating so much in a day. I know that what I had isn't a lot, but it's a lot for me. I used to starve myslef because I've always cared about how I look. I know that I'm all skin and bones right now, but one wrong meal and I'll be wanting to eat more again. I've trianed my body to live off of a little food everyday, that's why I'm never hungry. 

"Ponyboy, please. Go eat. Don't worry about me. I'm not hunry. I promise I'll tell you if I get hungry ok?" I asked. He just nodded. I smiled then walked back to the couch.

Ponyboy's POV

Why won't she just eat something? I mean she's all skin and bones,and I know she hasn't had much food today. I don't even know if she's had any food today. I'll talk to her later about it. Maybe there is something she didn't want to talk about in front of Darry and Soda. I'm just going to eat an act like nothing happened. 

Austin's POV

The guys were all done with dinner and we were just sitting in the living room talking. They are all really funny, even Darry. It's nice being around them. The Curtis house is homey. Darry got up.

"Ok guys I'm going to bed. Ponyboy you don't stay up too late you got school in the morning." he said. Pony groaned. 

They said that he was good in school, but that he never liked it. Apparently Soda dropped out after their parents died to help out with the bills. Darry never got to go to college. Pony got up and walked over to Darry. They both walked into the hall and I could hear slight voices. What were they talking about?

Ponyboy's POV

"Darry I know it's a school day but I told Austin that I would be here when Dallas came over to talk. Darry she really needs me to be here when that happens. Look we've been talking and I really like her. She's been through a lot please let me be there for her?" I pleaded. 

"Boys and there stupid hormones. Fine you can skip tomorrow, but you're having Johnnny pick up your work and your going to do it. Just make sure she's ok. And don't do anything stupid you hear me? I don't wanna have to skin you." he joked. I nodded and he walked off to bed. 

Austin's POV

Pony walked back in with a smile on his face. Why was he so happy? Who knows with him.

"What were you guys talking 'bout?" I asked him.

"He said I could skip tomorrow. I wanted to be here for you when Dallas is over. Figured it'd be nice. Plus before Dallas gets here we can just hang out. You know just talk." he said. Wait he's skipping school tomorrow to be here for me. So I won't be alone? I'm falling for this guy more than I ever planned to.

"AAAWWW!!" I fogot Soda was there. He was making kissy faces at us.

"Oh shove it up your ass, Soda." I said. I swear he's bassically a 5 year old. 

"Whatever. I'm sleeping on the couch tonight. Pony you guys can have our room." he said. GREAT!! Pony and I are sleeping in the same room. Maybe even the same bed I don't know. I yawned. I was tired. Ponyboy noticed.

"Come on. Lets go to bed. Have a big day tomorrow." he held out his hadn and I took it. He dragged me off the couch towards the hall.

"Night Soda." I said.

"Yeah night. Don't do anyhting stupid in there." he luaghed. That made me blush so much. I'm pretty sure my cheeks were scarlet red now. Thanks a lot Soda. Pony dragged me down the hall into him and Soda's room. It wasn't too messy. Just some clothes on the ground. He jumped on the bed. I didn't know what to do. 

"I think I'm going to change clothes. I'll be right back." I said and walked out to the living room where my bags are. Soda was already asleep. But he was in his boxers. Don't remember that happening but hey, it's his house. I grabbed a pair of sweapants that used to be Jessie's but he gave them to me and a tank top out of my bag. I walked to the bathroom and changed. Then went back to Pony's room. He was now shirtless and in sweatpants. Ugh he was so hot. He has a six pack. I tried not to stair but it didn't work. Thank god he didn't notice.

"Umm I can sleep on the floor if you want the bed. I mean it's your bed you should have it." I said and started to grabbed a blanket and pilliow. Before I could Pony stopped me.

"No you're not sleeping on the floor. We can both sleep in the bed. It ain't going to hurt anyone." he said. Oh my god I'm literally dying. This has been an odd day. 

"Umm ok." We both got into bed and under the covers. I shivered a little. Of course I had to do that. Now he's going to do that cheesey thing where he pulls me closer to him to get warm. Ugh my body hates me right now.

"You cold?" he asked. 

"Just a little, but I'm fine." I told him. He wrapped his arm around my wait and pulled me closer to him. What did I say. 

"Thanks." I laughed.

"Anytime." I laid down on the pillow and felt myself falling asleep.

"Good night Austin." he wispered. 

"Good night Po-" I was cut off by the darkness taking over my body. Before I knew it I was asleep.
