Austin's POV

I have officially been living in Tulsa, Oklahoma for one week, and it sure is interesting. I woke up normal with the sun shining down on my face and Dallas saying I had 15 minutes to get up and ready. I threw on a pair of ripped black skinny jeans and an off the shoulder maroon body suit with my white converse. I did light makeup and a dark red lipstick. When I went downstairs I threw on my black leather jacket and grabbed my switch that Dallas stole the other day. It had a black handle and was about 5 and a half inches. Dallas and I walked to over to the Curtis's like normal, with small talk. Everything's normal, everything's great. Nothing could go wrong, right? WRONG!

Just as we were about to turn onto Pony's street we hear a car engine roar. Shit, I know, right! I look at Dallas, not knowing what to do, and wanting to know if I can kick some ass's. He gives me one of those faces saying 'if you do or say anything, I will personally kill you'. So that's out of the question. Probably still do something to get killed.

"Hey Winston's! What are you guys doing walking on a hot day like this? Wanna ride?" I heard that guy say. I think his name was Michael? I let out a light chuckle. He knew who we were and knew what we both were capable, and him and his buddies still wanted to fuck with us right. What an idiot!

"What do you want monkey face?" Dallas asked. Ugh, he's supposed to just kick ass, not small talk. Imma have a talk with him when we get home. If we get home at this rate.

"I've been looking for you. About to head over to the Curtis's figured you'd be there. Rumble. Next week, Friday, 10:00 pm. Fair game, skin on skin. If we win, we get all greaser girls. Been running low on chicks on our side of town. Some been go'in for greaser trash." he said. Honestly he sounded pissed. But come on. Girls aren't objects. You can't win 'em or trade.

"Yeah, right. If I okayed with that, I'd be giving away sisters, girlfriends, and daughters. Forget it. Choose another prize." Dallas argued back. Why isn't he agreeing? I mean form what I've heard they always win.

"Nope that's it. If you don't agree we automatically win and get all the girls, and your side of town. You'll be seen as chickens. I'll give you till Saturday to make up your minds. Until then, think about it, if you make up your mind before then just find me. I'm sure I'll be around." he laughed before speeding off.

"Why didn't you agree?" I asked once they were out of sight.

"Are you kidding me? The socs wouldn't make that big of a prize and play fair game. They just say that so we'll agree. Believe me, there's nothin fair about this." he said.

"Aw come on! If they don't stick to their word, they automatically loose. Plus if they did, it'd give y'all the pass to as well." I tried to persuade. I could tell it was somewhat working and he was thinking.

"I speak for all the greaser girls by saying to take the deal. I believe in y'all enough to know you'll kick their ass's." I continued. He let out a light chuckle.

"Well I can't make any discussions till I talk with the boys and we'll need to spread the word to the girls. Can't have then free ranged while a war is battling for them." he joked. I punched his arm playfully and we continued walking to the Curtis's. When we got there Dallas automatically told the guys. They were all pretty skeptical about this whole thing and wanted more time to think. Especially Pony. I  could tell he was really thinking about this hard. I went up and kissed him lightly on the cheek.

"I just want you to know that I'm totally down for this rumble, and believe that we can beat those stupid ass socs." I said low enough so only he could hear.

"Nope. Definitely not. You, baby, are not gonna be in this rumble. I agree with Dallas. There is no way they'd make such as a big offer and play fair, plus they say it's skin on skin. You will be no where near the fight. And I'm not asking. I'm telling." Pony demanded. I was shocked. Last time someone told me what to do, it didn't end well for them.

"What do you mean? I'm a great fighter in this stuff. I know you're worried, but come on babe, I'll be fine. You guys will be there, and if you wanted I could team up with some other small greaser instead of fighting on my own." I pleaded. I'm going no matter what. Weather the guys like it or not.

"Come on Austin. None of us are letting you fight. No matter what. Might as well stop trying now." Soda laughed. Ugh! Damn boys!

"You guys can keep telling yourselves that, but no matter what you're taking the offer and I'm fighting." I huffed as I sat on the couch.

"Whatever keeps you asleep at night, baby." Pony laughed as he sat next to me. He went to go pull me on his lap but I moved before he could.

"Better rethink your answer or you ain't getting nothing from me." I said. He huffed as all the boys 'ohhed'. Real mature.

"Then I guess you and I will be pretty distant for a while." he teased. All the boys 'ohhed' again and I stuck my tongue out at him. I was gonna win this fight no matter what they think. We all hung out for a little while until Dallas decided it was time to get home. We left saying our goodbyes, Pony got no kiss as promised. I will keep that promise. When we got home I had a shower, changed, and went straight to bed. For some reason I was really tired.
