Ponyboy's POV

I woke up felling warm and in an unfamiliar place. When I opened my eyes, I saw Austin curled up basically in my lap. Her face was in the crook of my neck and I could feel her hot breath tingle my skin. All the memories came flooding back from last night. I can't believe it! Austin's my girlfriend! We kissed! We made out! I slept with her! Hold up. Not in that way. We slept! We fell asleep together.

I didn't want to wake her up, so I just let her stay there. I pulled her closer to my chest and kissed the top of her head. When I glanced at the clock I saw it was 7:48. I wonder why I woke up so early. I mean we went to sleep not too late, but it wasn't early. All of a sudden I heard footsteps outside the door and pulled the covers over us. I still didn't have a shirt on. All of a sudden the door slowly opened and there was Dallas with his eyes scrunched close. I laughed causing him to open his eyes.

"What are you doing, Dal?" I chuckled. He came and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"I came to see what was going on in here and I closed my eyes because I didn't want to walk in to see something happening. Just got home." he huffed.

"What were you doing all morning? Where were you?" I asked. I mean really. How do you just get home at almost eight in the morning?!

"Was at a friends." he replied looking away. When he did I saw a purple mark on his neck. Hickey.

"Was that friend Sylvia?" I said wiggling my eyebrows.

"How'd you know?"

"That hickey on your neck says what you were doing last night." I chuckled pointing to it.

"Yeah? Yours is pretty good too. Got anymore?" he said sternly pointing to my neck. I tried to look at it, but you know. I can't bend like that.

"You tell me." I said as I leaned forward making sure to not move Austin too much. I slowly placed her on her pillow. Now my chest was just bare in front of Dal.

"Yep she got you good. But if I find any of them on her, your gonna get your head beat in." he warned. SHIT! I'm screwed. I know I left at least one on Austin. Oh well. It was worth it.

"Look Dal, I know you just let me take her on a date last night, but we're kind of dating now. She's my girlfriend now, and I really hope you're somewhat ok with it." I said laying back down and pulling Austin into my chest again.

"I mean I guess, but you have to promise me one thing..." he trailed off.

"And that would be...?"

"Just don't hurt her. She's been through enough these last 7 years." he said. I felt her smirk against my neck and that's how I knew she was awake.

'She's awake' I mouthed to Dal nudging at Austin. He grinned and got up, walking towards her slowly. He started to tickle her and she squirmed around in my arms laughing. I laughed with her before he tossed her over his shoulders.

Austin's POV

Dallas threw me over his shoulder and I panicked. I'm only in a T-shirt and underwear. My ass was just out in the air, most probably right in front of Pony.

"Damnit Dallas! Put me down!" I yelled at him.

"Shit!" he mumbled. I guess he realized what I was freaked out about. When he put me down, I saw Ponyboy blushing like crazy. I grabbed some clothes and ran to the bathroom real quick to change. I threw on a black lace brawlet, a pair of shorts, and a red and black flannel that I left unbuttoned. I quickly brushed through my hair, letting it stay in it's natural waves, before putting on some mascara and eyeliner. When I walked out of my room Dallas was sitting on my bed, and Pony was no where to be seen.

"Where'd he go?" I asked while putting on a dark red lipstick.

"I sent him downstairs. I need to talk to you about something." he said.

"Shoot."

"Ok so, Pony told me that you and him are dating, and I just need to make sure that you know... if you have sex please use protection." he said the last part really fast, but I still understood. I just finished lacing up my black converse.

"I know this is probably really awkward for you right now, it is for me too. But I also know that since mom never got to give you this talk, and obviously dad didn't, I just need you to know. I know you learned about it in school, but they don't really go straight to the point. More just the science. I'm not going to ask you if you're a virgin or not, because even though I'd like to know, that's absolutely none of my business." he said getting up and about to leave.

"Hey Dal...(he stops) thanks. For talking to me. I know it was awkward, and I knew already, but you cared enough for my well being, to let me know." I smiled. He smiled back.

"Any time kiddo, now go get to your boyfriend have fun, but not too much fun, yah hear me?" he pointed as I walked up to my door next to him. I laughed.

"Yeah. And Dal?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm a virgin." I said before leaving him in my room. I walked downstairs and saw Pony waiting on the couch for me. I sat on the couch next to him. He smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek, and I returned it with a small peck on the lips.

"So what you wanna do today?" I asked.

"Well I was thinking we could stop by my house so I can change, and we can eat breakfast. And yes, you're eating breakfast." he said.

"Ok. And have fun with that." I replied as I hopped up and we walked started to walk to Pony's.
