Austin's POV

The last day at the hotel we all just chilled out then went to dinner, then left to go back home. It was a really fun weekend that we all enjoyed. It is currently Tuesday and Ponyboy is back at school, leaving me alone. Soda, Steve, and Darry are at work. Two-Bit; Ponyboy, and Johnny are at school; and I have no idea where Dallas is. I decided to call Ashley to see what I missed from the last time I called. Maybe see how her date went.

"Hello?" I heard after a few wrings. I knew it was Ashley, plus her parents would most probably be at work. Even though I don't know what the time zones are.

"Hey Ash! How've you been?" I asked.

"Austin! I was going to call you, but you never gave me a number to call you back. Everything's been good here." she said excitedly.

"Oh sorry, here write this down." I said as I gave her the Curtis house and Buck's. I told her that if I'm not at Buck's than to call the Curtis', and vise versa.

"Ok, so how was the date with Jessie?" I questioned.

"It was really fun honestly. We went to go eat, then a party. We wound up going back to his place after, and I stayed the night." she explained. Jessie and I's dates were the same as well, eat then party then go back to one of our houses. I had a feeling deep down inside of me that was saying that they did something when they went back to his place, but I wouldn't be surprised. Ashley's had sex, and so has Jessie. He'd lost his virginity way before we started dating. And if they did have sex, that's their decision, and I'm happy they have each other.

"Ohhh, you went back to his place, huh?" I teased.

"Oh shut up. Plus, he's my boyfriend now." she said. I could practically here her smile through the phone.

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you! Jessie's a great guy, and I'm really glad you two have each other. Aww." I gushed. I really was happy.

"OK, ok. Enough about me. How's Ponyboy? Have you guys done it yet?" she asked. Ashley knew I was a virgin, she was just teasing me, but also wanted to know.

"No. We've only been dating like a little over a week. And we've both talked about it. He said that he would never do anything with me knowing I wasn't ready to do that. I really like him, Ash. It's like way too early in the relationship, but I think I'm in love with him. But I can't tell him that, or else he would probably flip out." I explained. We continued to talk forever about boys, and how New York was, and how Tulsa was. I really miss having a girl friend with me. I'm always around guys now, it was really nice to talk with Ashley. After a while we decided to hang up.

After sitting in my room thinking about what I could do with my life, I decided I would take a walk to the DX, and talk with Soda and Steve about getting a job there. I felt the need to start making some money seeing as Dallas obviously wasn't.

I walked to my closet and picked out a pair of shorts, a white muscle crop top, and a flannel that was a boys at one point. I'm not sure if it was Jessie's, or Pony's, or Dallas', or even Soda's cause he's been giving me some old stuff. After getting dressed I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair, and do my makeup. I did simple eyeliner, mascara, and some chapstick because I didn't feel like a lipstick today. I grabbed my switch, some cash, and cigarettes before heading out of Buck's.

The walk was nice actually. There were no socs out, I guess 'cause the rumble was still on for this Friday. The weather was hot with a breeze. Summer weather was coming in, and that meant school would be over soon. I was happy 'cause that meant more time with Pony, and that his birthday was getting closer. I was actually gonna talk with Darry and see if for his birthday we could head out to New York. I know that probably sounds something more like for me, but actually Pony and I were talking after he finished homework yesterday and he said how he'd always wanted to go there ever since they met Dallas. But now that he's met me, he definitely wants to visit up there. He said something about seeing how I grew up, since I've seen where he did and all that shit.
