Austin's POV

The walk to the Curtis's was for the most part, silent, every now and then saying something random. By the time we got to the Curtis's, I was in desperate of someone to actually have a real conversation with. When we walked in Johnny, Two-Bit, and Ponyboy were the only ones there. Everyone else was at work. I walked in and sat next to Pony on the couch. Johnny and Two-Bit were both on the floor watching the TV.

"Hey girlie! How's your morning been?" he asked putting down the book he was reading. I was debating on whether or not to tell him. Just as I was about to say something I got cut off by Dallas.

"Oh you know, just the everyday morning, waking up, going downstairs to find a robbery happening, getting a gun pointed at you, getting put in a choke hold by the robber while they threaten you, then getting loose and pointing their own two guns at them. It was great you know. How was yours?" he said so chillily and sarcastic. Wow. I guess I am going to talk about it.

"Wait. WHAT!?" he responded how I expected.

"Yeah that happened. I was going to tell you, but got interrupted. *Fake coughs Dallas's name*" I said/coughed. Dallas just stuck his tongue out at me. I stuck mine back at him.

" Huh. Ok then. Didn't expect that." he said picking his book back up and continuing to read. I watched TV for a little bit until getting bored.

"Can we do something? I'm REALLY bored." I asked.

"I guess. Don't know what you want to do. Not much around." Dally said.

"Trouble!! Literally anything." I said. I saw a smirk crawl onto Dally's face.

"What?" I asked.

"You want trouble? Let's cause some trouble." he said getting up. I got up with him, and so did Pony. Johnny and Two-Bit had left earlier.

"Let me get dressed real quick." Pony said hurrying to his room. Once he came down we were out of the house, on a walk, looking for trouble. We kept looking and so far I had two packs of cigs, two lollipops (already ate), and a new pair of sun glasses. All stolen. Obviously. We were on our way back to Buck's because Pony wanted to come with us. Me and him have been talking a lot. I'm starting to grow even more feelings for him. I think this is really helping me over Jessie. Who's probably already got a girl by his side, kissing her, and loving her, and she'll probably stay his forever. I couldn't be that for him. When we got to Buck's, Pony and I went straight up to my room. It was kind of messy. Oh well.

"Sorry it's umm... really messy." I said.

"Nah. This is nothing compared to my room. You're all good." he responded sitting down on the bed and I took a seat next to him.

"So, what do you think of Tulsa, so far?" he asked.

"Honestly, I really like it here. I mean besides the soc and greaser rival, which sucks. But, I'm glad I'm with Dally, even if he's a pain in my ass some times. AND, if I wouldn't have come here, I wouldn't have met you and the gang. Which might I add, are crazy idiots. But you guys are my crazy idiots." I said.

"Thanks. And I'm glad you came, even though your situation was terrible. And I'm glad we met. You're honestly the greatest person I've ever met." he said wrapping an arm around me. This is what I'm talking about. He just knows what to say. I'm positive that he could hear my heart beating out my chest.

"Thanks. And you're the greatest person I've ever met." I put my head on his shoulder. Ponyboy's just so comforting, and sweet, and cute, and perfect. But there's no way he feels the same way about me. Closest, maybe his best friend, but not his girlfriend.

"So, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go to the Nightly Double? You know, just you and me." he said. I slowly took my head of his shoulder.

"Like a date?"

"Do you want to go on a date with me?"

"I'd love to go on a date with you." I kissed his cheek. I saw him blush. It's adorable when he blushes.

"Great I'll pick you up at 6:30, tonight?" he said getting up.

"Can't wait." I kissed his check again. He blushed again, then walked out. OMG! I'm going on a date with Ponyboy. OMG! What is Dallas going to say? Aww shit. I'll just not tell him and let him find out on his own. I looked at the clock and saw it was 4:00. I guess I should start getting ready.
