Dallas's POV
We just approached Buck's. I kind of feel bad that this is where Austin has to stay. I mean it's fine for me, but she jus got away from a drunk, she doesn't need to be living where they're everywhere.
We walked in. I have to say, this is one of the most lively parties Buck has had in a while. I don't know if that's good or not, seeing the fact that Austin's attending this one. At least the whole gang is here. They'll help me keep an eye on her. She said she's been to parties and she's drank before. She also said she doesn't get drunk. I trust her, but that kind of surprises me. I guess we'll see.
Austin's POV
We just walked into Buck's. I have to say, this party looked fun. It was a bar with a few couches, some bar tables, and a lot of room for dancing. There were a lot of people. Mostly everyone was dancing, at the bar, or making out on the couches. This is my kind of party.
Dallas took my bags from Pony and showed me to my room. It was a nice size with a double bed, dresser, desk, a nice size closet, and I had my own bathroom. I can definitely live with this. Not like I have a choice.
"This is where you'll be staying. It's not the best, but you can live with this right?" Dallas said while putting my bags on the bed. This place was way better then my old room. Even if it was in a bar.
"Are you kidding? This is way better then my room back in New York." I said.
"Cool. Look I'm really glad you're staying with me." he said.
"I am too. Thanks for letting me stay." I said giving him a hug. He hugged back.
"Ok enough with this gushy stuff, come on. Lets go join the party. Have fun." he said pulling away from the hug. We walked downstairs. The guys were all spread out. Two-bit and Steve were flirting with some girls who were clearly not interested. Soda was playing pool with Darry while some girls were drooling over him. Dally had walked off somewhere. Johnny and Ponyboy were kind of standing shyly in the corner observing. Do they not know how to have fun? I mean it's a party. For gods sake, Darry was having fun. I decided to get us drinks. I walked up to the bar.
"Hey I need 3 beers." I yelled over the music to the bartender.
"Aren't you that kid that showed up the other day looking for Dal? You look a little young to be getting drinks." he said.
"Yeah that's me. I'm his sister. I'm living in that spare room upstairs." I said.
"Oh well nice to meet you. I'm Buck. Buck Miller. And anything for Dal's sister." he said while handing me 3 beers.
"Thanks. Nice to meet you too." I said walking off. I went up to Pony and Johnny who were in the same place that I last saw them in.
"Here. Thought you guys could use these." I said giving them each beers. They hesitated at first but then took them.
"Thanks." they both said at the same time. I only nodded. I took a swig if my beer.
"Aren't you guys going to go party? I mean it is a party. Go find some girls to dance with or something." I said taking another swig.
"Nah that's not really our thing. Probably just stay here. Maybe talk to the gang." Pony said. I've learned that Johnny doesn't really talk.
"Oh come on. Have fun. Change it up." I pleaded. They really need to have fun.
"Nah we're good. But thanks for the beer anyways." he said trying to walk towards some of the gang. I grabbed him and Johnny.
"Nope. Not so fast. You guys are going to have fun. You are dancing weather you like it or not." I said pulling them towards the dance floor. They both struggled a little but I was determined. And when I'm determined. I'm strong. When we got to the middle of the dance floor I started dancing. We were crowded by people and nobody even seemed to notice we joined dancing. Well I joined dancing. Pony and Johnny were both standing there.
