The loud sound I was not expecting, causes me to open my eyes wide. The alarm rotated between about six different annoying noises of varying pitch and volume. It rose to the point where my ears were bleeding, then it ebbed and rose again, undulating like a wave and all the while ringing my brain out like a sponge. I groan loudly, but not loud enough. Then again, nothing could ever be louder than this devilish machine.

I decide to let the sound make me deaf so I don't have to face the horrifying feeling of being woken up by World War III sirens. I groan once again into the pillow, desperately wanting to cry from the annoyance this alarm has given to me. Suddenly the alarm stops, but leaves a beeping and hurtful sound in my ears, "Is it over?" I whisper, unsure if Luca is  even in the room with me, but i assume he is.

"Yes, sorry about that. I'm a heavy sleeper and regular alarms got nothing on me," Luca's raspy voice answers and I nod with my head, not certain if he saw that.

"I'm sure that woke up the whole building, in fact people might be outside the building, thinking there's a fire," I speak into the pillow, his laughter verifying it to me he's heard me. I stay like that, with my face buried into the pillow for a while, until I feel Luca's arm wrap around my waist, pulling my towards him. I groan, but let myself get lost in his cologne once my body is pressed against his.

"We have to go, unfortunately," I whispers into my hair and I nod. No matter how much I want to stay in this bed with him, I collect all my strength and stand up from the bed, tugging him along with me, "Are you hungry?" he asks and I shake my head as no.

"No, we can grab something on our way," I suggest and he agrees with idea, "I need to wash my face," I inform Luca  as I drag my body slowly towards the bathroom which, even though is situated just across the bedroom, seems like it's on the other side of the building.

Before washing my face I just stand inside the bathroom, in front of the mirror, not opening my eyes because it feels like the light is too bright; but I still feel proud of myself for standing up out of the bed, while my head is having its own war, without anyone's help. The headache feels like a balloon under my cranium, slowly being inflated, the pressure adjusting. The balloon then flies away for a split second, until another one inflates. I splash cold water on my face just to feel something refreshing and instantly wish I could wash my brain free of the pain too. I wipe the water from my eyes before I face myself. The mirror shows my eyes, the red colour around emphasising the greenness of my eyes. I bring together my palms as I let the water fill the bowl like area that was formed, before I let water wash away the awful taste my saliva holds. I can still taste the wine from the night before,  amazed how the taste of it last night was intoxicating, yet this morning it adds to the horrible headache. I know I haven't drunk much, but I've noticed my organism because weaker and weaker with each battle it has with alcohol.

"We have to drop by my place, you remember?" I yell, hoping Luca will hear me, which I am confirmed about soon after.

"I do!" he yells as I leave the bathroom, taking of his shirt while I do so. I fold the shirt and place it neatly on his bed before I search for my shirt. It takes my a while to realise that I've left it in the living room last night. I run towards the living room in my underwear, hoping I won't run into Luca, but unfortunately I do. I find him standing in the kitchen doing something while I storm towards the living room, "What are you doing?" he asks me though chuckles.
