I woke and sat up, smiling, I stretched my arms, for once, I felt refreshed. Like I had just put an old issue to rest. I stood and strolled over to my mirror. My hair was a mess, I chuckled a bit and ran a brush through my silver locks. I tried to style it as symmetrically as possible, to gain brownie points with Kid, 'cuz, ya know. I threw on my shirt and buttoned it up, the silky fabric caressed my skin perfectly, as if the shirt were specially tailored for me. I tied my tie, added the Triskelion brooch I got from Hot Topic and finally added my dark grey pleated skirt and some knee-high socks and dress shoes. Today I was feeling confident, but I couldnt figure out why. Brit met me in the kitchen, sunny-side-up eggs and toast waiting on the table. "Mornin'!" Brit cut a bit of egg white away from her egg and put it on a piece of toast.
We chatted for a bit before realizing what time it was and dashed to school. We burst into the classroom just as the bell rang, out of breath. Kid face-palmed as we made our way to our seats, I stuck out my tongue at him, and Patty giggled. The quiz went on as usual, I sat next to Kid and as usual he was still writing his name when the class finished. After the quiz I helped Liz and Patty coax Kid out of his little mental breakdown. At lunch Kid offered us the grand honor of sitting with him and the others at lunch, there wasn't much room at the table, so Kid and I ended up pretty much shoulder-to-shoulder, we both blushed lightly when Brit smirked at the two of us, then whispered something to Liz, who snickered mischievously.
Liz and Brit whispered to eachother for the whole lunch period, and eventually Maka decided to join in too, hopefully defending me and Kid in whatever remarks Liz and Brit were making.
"So, uh...wanna go shopping on Saturday? It's not like we've got anything better to do, right?" Brit asked me, smiling a little too brightly. "Maka and Tsubaki will be there too. We were thinking we'd get you some more clothes and then go for dinner." She explained.
I sighed, I knew where this was going. "Sure, if it'll get you to stop snickering whenever me and Kid get into some sort of awkward situation." She burst out laughing.
"Oh you have NO idea, honey." I hated when she called me that.

Saturday rolled around and Brit woke me at 6 a.m. "Brit! It's a weekend! What do you want!?" I cried as she hit me wih a pillow, laughing.
"We gotta get you ready!!! Go shower I'll pick out an outfit for you." Her eyes were bright and she was wearing one of fancier dresses for whatever reason. I groaned, annoyed. I stood groggily and trudged to the bathroom, taking a shower as my impulsive weapon ordered. I knocked on her bedroom door, wearing nothong but a towel, she told me to come in and squealed as she gave me a dress and heels, running over to her vanity to gather some makeup. She shoved me back into my own bedroom and told me to get dressed.
I threw on the dress she gave me, struggling with the zipper in the back a bit before finally getting it and strapping on the light grey heels she set out for me, I stepped from my bedroom, stumbling a bit, and Brit attacked me woth makeup brushes and eyeshadows, a couple hours later, after finishing my lipstick and eyeshadow, she finally got my eyeliner symmetrical. I don't know why she was worried about it, but I guess this was Brit we were talking about. When we finally got out of the house, Brit had snapped a few pictures of me, squealing like a fangirl who just met her idol. She was acting wierd today...
She was deep in thought for most of the walk to the shop, but when Maka greeted us she complimented my dress and Brit snapped out of her trance, for the next hour of shopping they wouldn't shut up about how "this was gonna be great!" And "I hope it works out..." Maka wore a black dress, why was everyone dressing up today?
Tsubaki turned up later wearing a red dress and ended up paying for dinner, we went for a walk in the park and eventually Brit left, saying she forgot she had something to do, so now it was just me, Maka and Tsubaki, who left later because she had to help BlackStar with his training. Maka and I hung out til around sundown, she kept glancing around as if she was expecting something, she frowned as the sun lowered in the sky, said it was getting late, and left me sitting on a bench. I sighed, she was right, I stood, strolling down the path to get home, eventually I heard someone over the hill, whispering, I ignored them, I didn't want any trouble. "Liz? Patty? Where did you go now?!" Called a voice from down the path. Kid? I continued down the path to find Kid looking for Liz and Patty, obviously.
