It had been a couple of weeks since we had killed the triple goddess and I had only found Death City to be more and more of a home.  I made my way to the Death Room, as Lord Death had called me and Brit there for whatever reason. I found that Kid was already speaking with him, Liz and Patty sitting by the arches waiting patiently.
I cleared my throat quietly and the two reapers looked over at me.

"Hi, there, Seikatsu! I heard about your recent mission's success, and thought we could use your help with something, do you think Kid could give you the mission briefing? I have some things I need to do before the day's out." Lord Death waved at me, then gestured to Kid.

"Sure, let's go!" I smiled, excited at the possibility of going on a mission with Kid. We all left the Death Room and stood in front of the school as he spoke.

"Recently I went to investigate a witch in Brooklyn, but found nothing, my father has given me information on this witch and I've got a feeling she's still around, it's not like she could just vanish. This is a 5-star mission, due to the strength of the witch, do you think you're up for this?" He looked me up and down again, analyzingly, are you serious? This again? Wait we were investigating...oh god.

"5-stars?!?" I WAS A 5 STAR MISSION?!?!? "I-I mean...yeah! I'm up for it!" I cleared my throat, blushing lightly, I really needed to stop humiliating myself in front of this guy. He smirked, god he was cute when he did that. Wait what the fuck...

"Well, if you say so, let's go." He raised a hand out in front of him, palm facing the ground, a black electric-looking energy appeared just below his hand, and next thing I knew he was standing on a skateboard. Fascinating... How did he do that? "Hop on." He held a hand out toward me, putting Liz and Patty into his pockets, Brit smirked at me as I blushed, she turned into her combat knife form and I stuck her in the side pocket of my backpack. I carefully stepped onto the skateboard, holding Kid's hand for balance. When I was securely standing on the skateboard, he took both my hands and guided them around his waist. "I suggest you hold on." I blushed deeper, he didn't seem to notice, though. I let out a yelp as we suddenly jolted into a full-speed flight in the direction of Brooklyn, tightening my grip around Kid's waist, hiding my face in his shoulder. I could just barely hear Brit snicker over the wind.
