Family

I woke up in Kid's bed, he must have flown us home. I smiled as I stood, stretching, still in my dress, I chuckled, smirking a bit.

Coward. I thought, I blushed lightly as I went quietly down the hall to my room, I shut the door and looked in my closet for something to wear for the day. I remembered that we were supposed to go back to class today and threw on my normal school outfit. I sighed, thankful that I woke early enough to be able to get to school on time, and Kid brought a few plates of french toast and bacon to the table, he turned to me, smiling. "Good, you're awake. Could you go get the girls?" I nodded, going to the kitchen, Kid eyed me curiously and smiled mischievously as I walked up the stairs with a glass of cold water. I slowly opened Brit's door and snuck in, she was still sound asleep in her bed. I now stood over her and held the water over her head.

"Brit." I said, she grunted, annoyed by me waking her. "Its time to wake up." She waved a hand at me, rolling over to go back to sleep. I giggled, "you asked for it." I dumped the water on her head, she screamed, jolting upright, I Liz jolt awake and rush over to Brit's room.

"What's-" she saw the cup I was holding, and Brit soaking wet, she immediately burst out laughing. "Seikatsu, that's cold!" She struggled to say through her laughter.

"Yeah, it was." Brit glared at me, standing up and heading immediately to the closet to change. I chuckled and left the room, telling Liz to go wake Patty.

I entered the dining room with the empty glass, Kid smirked at me and chuckled. "What?" I asked, smiling.

"Nothing, now get eating, before your french toast gets cold!" He took a bite of his french toast and the others entered. We all finished our breakfast and flew to school. (How often can you say you've done that? 😂)

Everyone greeted us cheerfully and BlackStar threw us dirty looks, he had a bruise which looked to be almost healed, on his left cheek, as well as one on the right, symmetrical, obviously Kid's doing. For the most part it was back to normal, well as normal as a school run by the Grim Reaper could be.

The day ended and the gang decided to meet at the cafè. BlackStar ended up leaving early because Kid kept glaring at him whenever he came within a five foot radius of me, not that the little blue-haired hot-shot cared. Brit and I slept over at Maka's place for the night, and we just chatted back and forth.

"Hey, Seikatsu, is your injury doing okay? it looked pretty bad a couple days ago." Maka gestured at my side, honestly I forgot all about it, it didn't hurt at all.

"Oh, yeah, it is! I barely feel it, I just hope it doesn't scar..." I lifted the hem of my shirt just enough to see the bandage, which was still the clean white that it was when Brit helped me change it that morning.

"Why not, I thought scars were cool?" Maka nudged Soul when he said that, I blushed lightly.

"...Because then I'd be assymmetrical." Brit stifled a laugh, and Soul rolled his eyes. Of course. Maka smiled.

"So you do have a thing for Kid." Maka teased, as if it was a question before, all I could do was smirk.

"Stupid thing to tease me for, of course I do, and I thought you knew that?" Soul decided to go to bed, I'll admit, it was getting a little late, but I expected him to go play video games or something.

---MORNING---

"Brit! Get up! We'll be late for school!" I cried when I saw the time, Maka and Soul rushed from their rooms around five minutes after I said that, hurrying to get breakfast and get their supplies together. Brit jolted awake and ran to the bathroom to change from her pajamas to her school clothing, I took the turn after her, next thing I knew, I was flying out the window with a combat knife in my talons, dying of worry, I couldn't be late for Proffesor Stein's class, I'd be dead in a second! around halfway to school, I noticed Kid a few blocks away, rushing to school on Beelzebub, Liz and Patty in his pockets. We arrived at the same time, I landed funny, though, and stumbled into the young Reaper.

"Careful!" he cried, putting an arm around my waist so I didn't hit the ground. He pulled me to my feet and we both ran to class Crescent Moon. surprisingly, we arrived earlier than Stein did, so there were no punishments. For us. Maka and Soul rushed in ten minutes later than us and were given detention. Stein dissected yet another endangered animal and of course we were forced to take notes that had nothing to do with what we were supposed to be learning, and so that summed up our day, aside from the usual duel with BlackStar, with Kid nearby in case I got injured or BlackStar deserved another few punches to the gut. we headed home, no major injuries endured, and had turkey for dinner. There, long day summed up in 2 paragraphs. Well. Almost.

I lay in bed, just dozing off, when the window slides open, suddenly, as if magic were at work, I couldn't move, all I could do was watch as the figure approached my bed, and stared down at me, smiling.
