CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

LUXRINE

"Princess Luxrine, handa na po ang hapunan," our butler call me kaya bumaba na ako sa dining area. Nakita ko naman si Dad na nakaupo sa pinakadulo ng lamesa at hinihintay ako.

As usual, sobrang dami ng pagkain na nakahanda sa lamesa pero hindi naman namin nauubos.

Agad na nagniningning ang mga mata ko nang makita ang isang pitcher ng kulay pulang inumin. Time of the month na pala ng mga bampira.

Ang time of the month ng mga bampira ay ang oras na pwede silang uminom ng dugo, pero dugo lamang ng hayop. Ang alam ko, sinasanay nila Kuya Luxrae na pigilan ng mga bampira ang pagkagusto nilang uminom ng dugo. Once na makatikim kasi kasi ng blood ng isang tao, it was like a drug for us, hahanap-hanapin namin.

"Good Evening, Daddy," I happily greeted him and kissed him on his cheek befor sitting beside him. Agad naman akong uminom ng dugo ng hayop. I wonder if human blood also taste like this.

"Princess, did you already have plans about your upcoming party?" Dad asked.

Omo. I almost forgot. Dad was planning a party kasi for me next month. Ang sabi niya ipapakilala na raw niya ako sa buong vampire clan as a princess. The truth is, I'm nervous about it. My Dad kept me a secret for almost my whole life. Well, may nakakakilala sa akin pero hindi lahat.

"Wala pa po, Dad," I answered while munching my food. "Actually, Dad. I want po sana pumasok sa V.A."

I bit my lower lip and glanced at him. I get the napkin and wiped his lips first before intently looked at me.

"Luxrine, we talked about this, right? It's too dangerous for you. Lalo na ngayon, at kumikilos na ang kalaban natin," he explained. I understand it naman and I got his point but it's a shame for me to be a vampire princess if I don't train myself.

"But Dad, Soon, I'll become a vampire princess. I want to learn everything. I don't want to be a burden in our clan. Please Dad, payagan mo na ako," I begged and showed him my cutest face that I knew he couldn't resist.

"I'll think about it," he said after letting out a sigh. I happily clapped my hand like I won. I hope he really consider me entering V.A.

After I finished eating, I went back to my room and thew myself on my bed. I don't have anything to do. My Kuyas were not here so I'm all alone with my Dad. I sighed and got up. Maybe, I could just stroll around our mansion.

I took a shower first and changed my clothes into a comfortable one. I wore black fitted pants and a black polo shirt. One fact about me, I love black. It's not halata but I really love black, almost of my things are color black.

After getting contented with my look, I went first to my Dad's room. Magpapaalam ako sa kaniya dahil baka mamaya hanapin ako at akalaing nawawala nanaman like last time. I knocked on his door but no one responded so I conclude that Dad wasn't in his room. I won't dare to enter his room so I just went to his office. My Dad won't allow anyone to enter his room, even me.
