I walked home in silence. Music of any emotion was out of the question. I felt numb, physically and mentally. All I wanted was to sleep. But I was only half way home.

Why have I been so tired today?

I heard a finger snap and I suddenly was grabbed. I struggled to get out.

"WHAT THE HELL!? LET GO OF ME!"

I heard a giggle. "It's not ladylike to use profanity, let alone scream."

I looked up at the source of the voice. It was Sonia. However, I didn't know who was holding me. I growled. "What do you want?"

She quietly laughed. Her laugh was annoyingly delicate. "I'm here because of what you want."

I shouldn't, this is a fight after all, but I can't resist the urge

I laughed so loud, whoever was holding me had to cover my mouth. I bit their hand, resulting in a small girly scream.

"Pffft! You're talking about Kazuichi, right? Oh boy, this is just too funny!"

"It is no joke, he will always fawn over me! Though I will never accept him as a lover, the image of having an admirer reminds everyone who I truly am!" She declared.

"Remind everyone that you're a bitch?" A male voice countered. Fuyuhiko came out of a nearby alley, followed by Peko. "I fucking hate bastards that pick a fight with innocents."

My eyes widened. "Fuyuhiko?!"

Whoever held me gasped and Sonia looked surprised.

Fuyuhiko rolled his eyes and looked at me. "Just so you know, I'm not doing some superman shit. I just saw you." He glared at Sonia. "Now, unless you want me to have Peko kick your ass, let her go and leave. Or maybe I should let a certain biker gang know what happened?" He threatened.

"I CAN BEAT HER UP TOO YOU KNOW!" I yelled. "I'M NOT HELPLESS!"

Sonia took a step back. "Tch, fine. But this isn't over, I swear on my family's name!" She walked away and I was released. I watched as the person who grabbed me, Sayaka Maizono, ran away.

I sighed. "Thanks guys. Sorry you had to deal with that."

Fuyuhiko groaned. "It better not happen again. And don't thank me, Peko was the one who saw you."

I looked at Peko. I only saw her as an emotionless girl that was Fuyuhiko's shadow. Because of this, I was taken aback. "Thank you, Peko!" I said, smiling.

Peko only nodded, not even the smallest smile formed.

Yep, still the same old Peko I see. Maybe she acted differently when she was at her house

With that, Fuyuhiko and Peko walked back into the alleyway, saying nothing more.

I turned and walked home, checking over my shoulder a few times until I walked through the front door.
