Boring Lectures and Sweet Revenge

I got out of bed in a daze and slowly got dressed, putting the knife in my pocket. I walked to the kitchen and sighed. I wasn't hungry, but I made a piece of toast anyway. As I ate, I wrote about my dreams on a piece of paper. I needed every single detail to try to explain what was behind those dreams. When I was finished writing, I put the paper in my bag and walked to school. I decided to put on my headphones and listen to music this time. It was something to distract me.

Look at the stars. Look how they shine for you and everything you do. Yeah they were all yellow. I came along. I wrote a song for you and all the things you do. And it was called "Yellow".

I smiled. The music in this song was so relaxing. I hummed the lyrics until I made it to school. I took my headphones off and put my things in my locker, exchanging it for my books for my first class. I sat down once I got to my class, but Fujisaki wasn't in her seat before everyone else like usual.

That's strange. She's probably just sick today

Class began a few minutes later. All the lectures were the same: boring. Too bad Fujisaki wasn't here to show me her notes after the lecture. Class finished earlier than I expected. I raced to my locker and quickly got my books for my next class, slamming my locker shut. I angled my feet to turn and sprint in the direction of my next class. I had to make sure I avoided--

"Um, I'm sorry..."

God damnit! Congrats Mondo, you win...

I turned to face Leon. He still looked confused on why he was apologizing to me. But, he didn't have a cast on his arm.

He's going to feel the same embarrassment as I did

"S-Sorry for w-what?" I asked him.

I was making an innocent expression, but on the inside I might as well be smirking.

"For leaving you alone after you ran away..."

He emphasized the phrase 'you ran away'.

"Y-You scared me. I-I thought you j-just needed help with y-your essay." I stated, trying to sound like I was going to cry.

He now looked panicked. Maybe he was afraid Mondo would beat him up even harder. I hope so.

Get dunked on, sucker.

"I'm sorry, ok! Don't cry!"

Oh, I'm so going to fake cry

So I did, I fake cried. And my talent should have been changed to the Ultimate Actress. Or, pardon my language, the Ultimate Asshole. Because I saw an even more panicked expression on his face through my fake tears. And it felt so great to continue. To finish, I ran away, still crying. But, when my face was out of sight from Leon, my evil smirk came out. I tried not to laugh as I ran to the classroom and when I got there, my laugh was probably as loud as an airplane landing.

Who knew revenge could be so hilarious?
