Where could he be? He said he'd be home early, maybe something came up. At the same time, though, Mondo was glad his older brother wasn't around. He wouldn't want him to find out what was going on, even if he never used the basement any more. 

Then, he heard footsteps coming up the stairs. That was impossible! He had her knife and tied her up as tight as he could. There's no way she could have escaped.

Unless...

He walked to a kitchen cabinet and grabbed the biggest knife he could find. Was it Fuyuhiko, with a gun and Peko ready? Or would it be Gundham, remembering where to go when he was still awake. Either way, he was ready. 

Or so he thought.

"Bro...what have you done?" His brother's voice asked in a shocked tone.

The Devas were starting to slow down. They weren't used to this sort of exercise. Gundham knew it too. Even so, he knew when they were determined to beat the odds. That was why they weren't pets. Entering a shady neighborhood the Devas stopped and looked around. Gundham's soul sank. Did they loose her sent?

He had lost all sense of purpose and saw that he wasn't the Mondo Owada he thought he was. That Mondo would have listened when his brother shamed him for "becoming a monster" but forgiving him for giving the leader pain nonetheless. That Mondo wouldn't be covered in his brothers blood. This Mondo was. No more biker gang responsibilities. No more school. No more friends. There was only one thing that mattered.

He confidently walked down to the basement. With his brother gone, nothing could stand in his way. 

"Hey, sleepyhead, sorry about my brother."

The ropes were cutting off my circulation and a sense of dizziness was slowly coming over me. I had just enough energy to see the man standing before me. A fellow teen that was supposed to be my friend. 

"Hey, sleepyhead, sorry about my brother."

The pain in my head felt like a giant hand was slowly crushing my skull. "Your...brother...?" Thinking straight seemed almost impossible. Daiya was just here, or did I pass out again?

Mondo nodded. "He was getting annoying, so I took care of the problem."

So he did kill him...

"Please, let me go..." I gasped out. "My circulation is getting cut off..."

"I can't put you in danger out there." He replied "Your friends are going to hurt you, just like Leon did."

That wasn't true and I knew it, but I had play along. I had to think hard and fast.

"But... you could just lock the door." I said. "And I have to go pee..."

He walked over to one side of the basement with several shelves and pulled out a large bucket. "That's what this is for." He walked back to me, bucket in tow, and placed it between my feet. 

"But I need to take my underwear off-" As soon as I said that, I realized he was already one step ahead of me. 

"Don't worry, I'll take care of that too." 

He squatted down and, with one hand, lifted the bottom of my dress up.

No...

I sensed his other hand moving past my ankles.

No...

I felt his cold hands move up my thighs. 

"NO!"

With all my strength, I extended the lower part of my legs out and fast and hard as I could. As I cried out in pain I felt them connect with Mondo's face and heard a small cracking noise near his nose. Tears came to my eyes as I felt like I had broken my own legs. Mondo slowly got up and made his way to the shelves, getting a rag to control his bloody nose.

"It looks like you'll need to be punished now," Mondo said in a disappointing tone. 

"Punished?" I asked in fear. 

"This is my house and if you disrespect me, I'll make you feel as much pain as I did each time you pushed me away and called me your friend."

"But it was the truth!" I protested.

He opened an odd looking toolbox that had screwdrivers, small pliers, and hammers inside it. "Not anymore..."

"Finally something we agree on." I said, glaring at him. 

He chose two screwdrivers and loomed over me. "After this, you will love me."
