Test Run Tony Stark X Reader

"Tony! Tony! Wake up!" You pestered the sleeping Avenger.

"Huh? What is it (Y/N). If it's another meeting, tell them I got sick." Tony grumbled.

The genius was laying on his workbench in the workshop at the Stark Tower. He was up all night fixing his suits and modifying the latest one. He was stuck down here all the time just ignoring his work, that really pissed you off.

"No, no meeting. Just get up and go upstairs and eat something. You must be starving." You tried to pull him off of his desk but he was stringer and you ended up crashing into him when he pulled back.

"So, (Y/N), getting a little touchy are we?" Tony grinned as you attempted to untangle yourself from him.

"You wish, but seriously come eat something." You pouted.

"Come here, I wanna show you something." Tony got up and dragged you two his latest suit. He was explaining the new modifications that he made to it. You just spaced out and nodded when he turned towards you.

"Seems real cool Tony. Just one thing, how does it feel to fly in it?" You asked. You had always wondered what it was like to fly in the Iron Man suit, but you never got the chance to ask Tony.

"Why don't you find out?" He grinned and shoved you in the suit.

"TONY! What the hell!" You heard JARVIS and the helmet lit up. You had no idea how to use this, but you watched Tony plenty of times.

"You will be fine, you have seen me. Just go for a test run with the new tech I added in that one." Tony spoke. You tried to stay calm, but when Tony got in another suit, you started freaking out.

"But I don't know how to fly or anything! Tony!" You pleaded.

"Watch me." Tony flew away, you watched his stance before he flew and copied that. Your feet where a few feet off the ground and you looked up. You shot out like a rocket from the Stark Tower. You saw Tony in mid air waiting for you and you slowed down. 

"See? Not so bad now was it?" He grinned through the helmet.

"No, I supposed not. This is really fun!" You yelled, flying through the air some more. 

You looked down and saw all the tiny people and buildings. The view was amazing! Now you saw why Tony loved it so much, the adrenaline that coursed through you was a new feeling to you. You and Tony flew around some more before you decided to go back to the balcony on the Stark Tower. You landed and went through the thing that Tony did when he took of his suits. Tony followed you and took off his suit as well.

"That was amazing Tony, it was so much fun!" You yelled, jumping up and down.

"Glad you liked it, Pepper thought I was going insane when I told her she could try it out." Tony chuckled.

"Can I go again tomorrow?" You begged.

"Of course, I would love to have my own sidekick." Tony winked.
