You sighed deeply, looking at the message on your screen and throwing yourself back down on the bed. Messages like this were a common occurrence, George ditching you to hang with the boys. Of course you understood being in a band was hard work, but it felt like his music was the only thing he put effort into.
Scrolling through twitter, posts of him and boys, smiling and joking appeared everywhere on your timeline. Suddenly feeling empowered, you got up, put on a jacket and made your way over to his house.
Anger boiled inside you as you walked up the path to his house, having your speech prepared in your head. You violently pounded on the door and to your surprise, his mum answered.
"Hi y/n!" She greeted you, opening the door to let you in, "George is in his room with the two boys"
You thanked her and made your way up to his room, marching straight in and not bothering to knock.
"Hi George" you said in a sarcastic tone, "Can we have a word?"
The boys awkwardly excused themselves and walked down the stairs while you took a seat on his bed.
"What's up?" He asked
"I think you know. I haven't seen you for a month because you keep blowing me off for the boys. Do you have any idea how that makes me feel?" you started.
He lowered his head in guilt after you started to raise your voice.
"It makes me feel like shit. I'm the only one putting the effort in while you sit back and have a great time with your friends. Who even cares about poor y/n huh?"
"You know that's not true. I'm in a band-"
Before he could continue his sentence, you scoffed, "Don't I fucking know it"
"y/n, I don't have time for this. I thought you would support me and understand I don't have time to be chasing your every need twenty four seven" he shouted.
"Well if you don't have time for me, I'll make your life easier. Bye George" you said, walking out of his house wiping a tear from your eye.
