"I'm nervous" you said, looking down at yours and Blake's interlocking hands.
"Don't be, we'll be fine" he said squeezing your hand tighter.
The two of you sat in a tattoo shop, waiting in reception. It was your 18th birthday yesterday and you made a spur of the moment decision on matching tattoos. Of course you were aware of how much grief you were going to get from management and parents but it never really got to you.
"Hey we're ready for you now" the tattooist came out of the room, smiling at you.
You both followed him into the back room, sitting down on the stretcher bed. Blake decided on going first, to ease your nerves a little bit. He held your hand during the whole process but remained quite calm, surprisingly.
"See it wasn't even that bad, y/n/n" he grinned, presenting his new tattoo to you.
"You have to go now or else I'm going to look extremely stupid" he laughed. You nervously laughed back at him.
"Here give me your hand and look at me the whole time."
You could feel the pain of the tattoo but remained focused on your boyfriends face. You looked at him as he told you the funny stories of what the boys got up to on tour.
Suddenly, you felt the needle being lifted from your hand. A sharp pain following but you looked down and realised it was done. You listened to the tattooist going over all the safety procedures whilst not being able to take your eyes off you and Blake's new ink.
As you walked out of the shop hand in hand, you embraced him in the tightest hug you've ever given anybody.
"This is really it babe, we're connected" you giggled
"I guess so baby, I'm stuck with you now" -
"Hey angel" He asked, once you had got back to his and were now lying in bed, under the sheets and legs intertwined.
"yeah?"
"I know we haven't told anyone but can I put it on my insta?" He said, nervously waiting on your response.
"Course, I don't even care who knows anyway" you shrugged, smiling at him.
