...Still Amy's POV...

I was really starting to hate the sea. When it was small, slow, and gentle rocking, it was perfectly fine. Amazing. Wonderful. When you were going as fast as you could and were running for your life from a bird bigger than your ship...yeah, it made you hate the sea.

We had spent the last day or so going to what Tetra called the Forsaken Fortress and I had finally gotten over my seasickness. Then the island came into view and Gonzo started launching cannons at the Helmaroc King, which was apparently the giant bird with a mask on its face. Yes, this was helping to keep my seasickness away...NOT!

For the past two hours we had been leading this bird away from the Forsaken Fortress so that Link could save his sister. Suffice it to say, taking sharp turns and playing hide and seek with a giant bird on the waves had never been on my bucket list.

It was different with the TARDIS. Sure the Doctor was a terrible driver and we usually got tossed around when we flew through space, but it didn't last very long.

Gonzo shot a bomb which hit its foot.

The bird screeched in pain before flying towards us, narrowly missing the front of the boat with its beak.

"Will you learn to aim that thing already?!" Tetra yelled as her First Mate loaded the cannon again. Wisely, he didn't respond.

I sighed and clutched the rail tighter. All around me, other members of the crew were also holding on for their lives as Tetra swung the ship around.

Gonzo was about to fire another bomb when we all heard a cry from above, the crow's nest I think it was called. Looking up there, I saw that the Doctor had gotten a white sheet and was waving it at the bird, grabbing its attention. It took the bait and went for the Doctor, giving Gonzo a clear shot to its wing.

There was a CRACK! and the bird spiraled into the water, its wing badly wounded.

"Quickly! To your stations!" Tetra called, steering the ship back to the Forsaken Fortress, "We don't have long!"

"You mean it's not dead?!" I called up to her, a mix of dread and annoyance on my face.

She scoffed, "It'll thrash about in the water for a bit but it always lives."

I groaned.

Tetra smirked before calling up to the Doctor, "Nice move Doctor!"

He saluted her, his big childish grin on his face.

...

"I don't like how quiet it is." Tetra said as we walked across a wide stone platform to a door.

"I don't think any of us do..." the Doctor muttered, walking next to me.

Nobody else said a word and we continued on our way. We had decided that Niko, Mako, and Zuko would stay on the ship in case the Helmaroc King came back sooner than expected, so the rest of us were making our way to where Tetra thought that the prisoners would be.

We got to the door when there was a loud creaking from above us. Looking up, we saw the last of the spotlights reaching upwards towards the sky.

"He's not doing too bad..." Tetra murmured.

"That was Link?" the Doctor asked.

"Course it was, he knows how this place works." Tetra said, shrugging before motioning to Gonzo and the others to open the door.

As they opened the door, I took a look around. It was a big place, with lots of stairs and space. Honestly, to me it seemed like far too much of it was empty. If it was the biggest threat in all of the sea, then where were the guards? The biggest defense was the bird and the cannons? Really? Things in Hyrule were just messed up.

I looked over to the Doctor. He had been acting strangely ever since we arrived here. Now, having borrowed a sword, he looked uneasy, as if expecting monsters to jump out of every shadow.

Nudging him playfully with my shoulder, I smiled and nodded to the door that was now open.

"You coming Raggedy Man or gonna leave all the adventuring to me?"

"Definitely not!" he protested, going back to his old self a little bit, "We just fought a giant bird! I'm not missing anything else about this place!"

I laughed, "Well then hurry it up."

We walked through the door, a little behind the pirates, the place still empty. For some reason Tetra seemed to know exactly where we were going.

"So, Doctor..." I started, timing my steps with the clip, clip of my staff.

"Yes?" he seemed distracted, looking around at everything. This was normal for him but...something was just off about it this time...

He was getting emotional, I could tell.

"Nothing."

He stared at me, turning his head so quickly he could have gotten whiplash, as if anything so common and ordinary could actually affect him.

He opened his mouth but didn't say anything and a minute later Tetra called back to them, "Hey, you two better hurry it up, we're here!"

Glancing ahead, I saw that the pirates were indeed waiting outside a door for us. We caught up and they opened it, only to find Link about to open the door to a cage that held a bunch of girls, one who looked a bit like Link who I assume was his sister.

"You're not actually planning on just walking out with all of them are you? You just want to die." Tetra said, getting Link's attention.

The tiny swordsman turned around and stared at all of us in shock, "T-Tetra? Amy? Doctor? What are you all doing here?!"

The Doctor smiled his goofy smile and ran up to Link and then pointed back to the pirates, "We got a ride with them! They learned about you and what you were planning and here we are! Might as well just have gotten a ride with you if you ask me..." he stuck his hands in his pockets and frowned slightly, his almost non-existent eyebrows coming together in the middle of his forhead, "Then there was the part about the big bird, which you missed (that's why it's not here by the way) and Amy got seasick on the big boat-"

"Doctor!" I interrupted him, "We've got slightly more important things to do."

I nodded my head at his forgotten look.

"She's right. You've got stuff to do Link. Like the Doctor said, the big bird...still needs to be taken care of."

Link shook his head, "I have to get Aryll and the others out of here first."

Tetra looked at Gonzo and the others to go to the cage, "We got them, no worries kid. Just finish off the bird."

Her pirates easily got the door opened and grabbed the girls, Link just sort of standing there speechless. I went and stood next to the Doctor, mostly to get out of the way as the pirates carried the girls back to the ship. Tetra then left, saying her goodbyes and the door closing behind her just as we heard a bird call from above us. Within a few moments, the Helmaroc King had landed in front of us.

"You ready?" The Doctor asked nervously.

"Nope," I responded.

He smiled and at the same time we said, "Geronimo."
