Professor: Please forgive me for not updating for so long! I really planned on making my chapter updates more regular and then I got a horrible case of writer's block for this Festival.

...

The stars shone above the volcano, winking and sparkling as the Rito Tribe got ready for the Festival, the Great Valoo watching with amusement.

The Tribe itself was gathered on the beach, finishing the last of the preparations. A long table stood to the side, covered with the delicacies of the Tribes' best cooks and decorated with the red banners that also covered the rest of the area. A long aisle went down the middle, leading from the beach to the stage at the base of the volcano, wooden columns standing upright along the side of that aisle, lights hanging from the ropes that connected them. Tables were to the left and behind them; a dancefloor was cleared off on one of the few grassy areas of the island.

"Wow..." Amy breathed as she looked at all of this, "This is amazing."

"Yeah," Link said in agreement, scratching the back of his head, "Medli was sad that she had to miss it, but she was determined to stay in the Temple to power the Master Sword."

"Hmmm," Amy murmured and they started to walk towards where they could see the Doctor with the Sages who rescued him, "How was she and Makar by the way?"

"Just fine. Glad for the food, but fine."

Amy smiled, glad to hear that.

Link had left earlier in the week to give the two Sages more supplies to last until the full moon and had only returned that morning, giving a promising report about how the trip went. Now, they only needed the full moon to continue their battle. One week down, two to go.

Amy, for her part, had spent the last week learning all about the Ritos and their way of life. To say it was interesting was an understatement. In fact, much of her time was spent hearing stories from Hayll or Quill.

She spent a lot of time with the Doctor and the Sages as well, although, no matter what she did, none of them would answer her questions about the Doctor's previous trip to Hyrule.

Quill, she saw him sparingly this past week, mostly at night when he returned from his route. Apparently, even though he had only been gone a week, the mail room and business at the island had gone haywire. She did hear a lot of mumbling about hiring a part-time worker...

She and Quill spent a lot of nights in his room having late dinners and deepening their relationship and talking until she was too tired to stay away. How he did, she didn't have a clue. But he also made sure to walk her back to her own room every night so they wouldn't have a repeat of the last time. Quill said that he didn't want to disrespect her in anyway even though she said that didn't care about things like that. He had saved her life, which was the highest respect he could have given her.

Looking around, Amy actually couldn't see Quill in the crowd. He must still be in the mailroom, working until the last moment he could.

The two approached their group of friends who were surrounding a table.

"Amy!" The Doctor yelled when he saw her, "They don't believe me about the Star Whale!"

She rolled her eyes, "You had to be there."

"But it happened?!" Saria asked, shocked.

She nodded, a small smile on her face with the Doctor proudly smiling at her confirmation. She just laughed along with the group before taking a look at them.

The Doctor was, of course, just dressed in just his tweed suit as usual. Darunia, it seemed, hadn't changed either, although, he was a Goron. The other Sages were wearing variations of their traditional garb, although they were a bit more subdued for the Festival. Link was the only one who had really changed for it. Gone was his green hat and tunic and in its place was a traditional Rito tunic, loaned to him by the Tribe.
