Professor: Hello all of my lovely and adoring fans!

...Well, two fans...and one of them is my sister...but you both are lovely anyway! And yes, I am basing this on reviews...so (hint hint) I know, I am practically begging for reviews, but as I have stated on my profile: Reviews=motivation=more chapters=more reviews! It is a never ending circle lol. Well, never ending until the last chapter anyway...

...

After crying over her torn wing, Medli took a breath to calm herself down. She was battered, bruised, and injured. Not to mention lost with no way to defend herself. This was not the time to collapse in a fit of emotion. Instead, she sniffled and took another look at her arm.

It really was a horrible injury, but not as bad as she had originally thought. Yes, the wing was torn off, but a few feathers had remained and they were stopping the bleeding as much as they could.

As quickly as she could, and carefully because of her arm, Medli took off the cloth that hung over her dress, leaving her dressed in nothing but her thin gray dress. Not the best for her situation, but at least it was something. She then took the cloth and wrapped it to the best of her ability around her arm. Blood started to soak through right away, but it did slow down considerably. Maybe she could find a heart somewhere in this tunnel...

Medli looked at her arm once again. It really was the best that she could do considering the circumstances. And it wasn't the worst injury that she could have sustained. If she ever got out of this Temple alive and back to Dragon Roost, she could plead her case to the Great Valoo and ask for another of his scales to grow her wing back. It had been done before, in extreme cases.

Sighing, Medli sat against the wall to take stock of her situation before deciding what to do.

Obviously she was alone. She couldn't expect her friends to fall down the hole after her, not after this long. She might not have known Amy very well, but she did know Link and Quill. And knowing them like she did, she knew that they wouldn't have waited this long to come to her rescue. Which meant that the Temple's layout was like a maze and they all took a separate path in the hole, or some monster as messing with them.

She sighed and put her face in her hands. Looking back now, Medli knew that she had overreacted to their lie. Yes, they did lie to her, but the shock of finding out that she was actually a Sage and crucial to the stopping of Ganondorf? It was understandable to see that she had reacted the way she did. After all, Medli was a simple girl. Her only dream was of being the Great Valoo's attendant...and now? Now it was all so much more than that. People were counting on her...

On HER! Why she, the shyest girl in the Great Sea, had been chosen for a job this big, Medli really didn't know. A part of her wanted to know, but another part of her wanted no more information and to just get through these next few days so that she could get back to her normal life.

Medli rubbed her eyes a little bit and looked down the tunnel. It ended in darkness so she couldn't see if there were creatures or a room waiting for her.

Going down the tunnel seemed to be her only option. Granted, she had no weapons or ways to defend herself. She couldn't even fly away from danger now...but she needed to find her friends. She understood her role now.

She needed-no, CRAVED to put the power back into the Master Sword. After all, she was a Sage. And more importantly, she was a Rito. A race known throughout the Great Sea for their sense of honor, loyalty, and their stubbornness. She had a job to do.

With these inspiring thoughts going through her head (where they came from, she had no idea) Medli stood up and started walking down the dark tunnel.
