Professor: Hello people! I know, the story might seem to be moving slow plot wise, but it'll pick up soon enough, I promise.

...

Amy woke up feeling incredibly refreshed...and comfy. Honestly, this bed she was laying on was probably the comfiest bed in the entire universe. In all of time and space. And that was saying something considering how she traveled.

...but then again, most beds feel amazing when you are really tired after fighting for your life. In fact, this was the first real sleep that she had since her first night here in Hyrule. She would've counted the nights that she spent on Tetra's ship...but a seasick stomach kind of ruined that.

Anyway, she really didn't want to get up. It really was comfy and warm. This blanket was the softest thing that she had ever felt...at least for her arms. Apparently her blanket had ridden up during the night and left her legs bear so that they could freeze. Oh well, she shrugged mentally, too lazy to actually do the task. Instead she just curled her legs up to her chest so that they could share the warmth. This was perfect for her right now...and that perfectness got ruined when a leaf landed on her nose. Her eyebrows came together in annoyance and she huffed, causing the leaf to leave her face. Once again, she was at peace.

...wait a second...why had there been a leaf in the first place?

Amy's eyes flew wide open and she took in the scene around her. What she saw brought back everything that had happened the previous day.

After they had blown up the floor in the Ice Island, Amy and Quill had gone to grab the item in the chest. For such a large chest, Amy didn't know what to expect, certainly not what they had found, but there was no complaining from her department because it now meant they could leave the place that was trying to freeze every part of her.

Inside the chest they found two gold bracelets that looked incredibly flimsy. Sharing a glance with Quill, Amy reached forward to grab them. Sadly, as her hand got only a few inches away from them before they disappeared and reappeared on her wrists. She hadn't even felt them and it took about five minutes before the two friends even found them again. Honestly, it felt like they weren't even touching her...but now she couldn't get them off. They had tried for hours the night before trying to remove them, to no avail. She was stuck with them.

Moving on; after they found the bracelets (obviously the item they needed to get) the temperature started to drop back down to what it normally was...and that made Amy pretty useless. Within seconds she was back to her shivering state and Quill had to fly her out of there (although he was going to have to do that anyway since he blew up the floor).

He got them out of there not a moment too soon. As soon as they exited the hole in the ground, what Amy called the 'ice-shield' went back up around the island, dropping the temperature even more and forcing them to head to Forest Haven as fast as they could since now the cold was affecting Quill as well. He may have had a built in blanket but there is only so much that he can take.

They were able to reach Forest Haven within minutes (which really impressed Amy as the trip took half a day with Link. A Rito was the fastest thing in the Great Sea, not including the wind or sea creatures of course). The Great Deku Tree was glad to have them and let them stay the night to wait for Link, who hadn't shown up yet.

And since they hadn't woken up in the middle of the night, Amy was pretty sure that he hadn't shown up then either.

Anyway, the Great Deku Tree let the two travelers climb onto one of its branches (in which the leaves and branches were so thick that it actually felt more like a cushy floor or a pillow, probably because of magic) to sleep. That was what seemed so comfy to Amy, the leaves. She was surprised that they hadn't kept her awake all night by itching her, but, again thanks to magic, it seemed that the leaves were 'Anti-Itch Deku Leaves'...
