Professor: I have been waiting to reveal that secret for I don't know how long! Oh my goodness...
Still don't own anything to do with this story.
...Amy's POV...
I didn't have time to let the shock sink in before Ganondorf began his attack. The only thing I really knew was that suddenly Quill was yanking me out of the way of the two thin blades that the Gerudo king held in his hands. Since we had been standing in front of the Doctor, his attack there made sense.
Our group scattered, running in different directions, away from Ganon's onslaught, the sea water making the ground slick as it fell away. A small part of my mind realized that we didn't have a lot of time before the whole ocean came crashing down and burying us all.
Quill and I dashed around, the Doctor behind us, with Ganon hot on our tail. The sages were in smaller groups around the platform, Saria and Link bent over Tetra. My heachache pounded in time with my footsteps but I ignored that and pulled my sword out.
"Amy!" Quill cried, "What are you doing?!"
"What we came here to do idiot!" Was my stubborn response before I brought myself to a halt. The Doctor almost slammed into me as I did so but I shoved him out of my way and raised my sword just in time to block a strike from Ganon.
He snarled at me and lunged with his other sword. I barely blocked that as well, trying desperately to remember the finer points of swordplay that Link had taught me. Ganon's sword came up again but Quill beat me to blocking it. Rushing forward, he raised the larger of his daggers, one that was really the size of a short sword, and used the smaller one as leverage. Both of them together let him stop the powerful strike from the Gerudo.
I rushed forward, thrusting with my sword towards his belly, but Ganon parried that with contemptible ease. Quill and I pushed forward, attacking with everything we had, but he used one sword for each of us, never giving an opening for us to attack.
"AAHHH!" the Doctor screamed, rushing forward. A triumphant sneer grew on Ganon's face and he pushed Quill and I aside. I fell on the ground with a cry, temporarily losing sight of the battle.
The clashes of the swords were loud and nearby. Opening my eyes I watched in shock as the Doctor and Ganon exchanged blows. Unlike when he had been fighting us, I couldn't tell who the better of the two was. Ganon and the Doctor....their talent seemed equal.
'Then again, if the Doctor really is the Hero of Time....they've had this very fight before.'
"Doctor!" Nabooru cried.
She ran forward, an orange orb in her hands. It seemed to grow bigger and bigger till she got near enough to launch it at Ganon, but he dodged it. The orb exploded against the curtain of water behind him and the place shook.
"Nabooru!" Saria yelled, "Get back!"
She listened and moved out of the way just in time for me to see the green haired mage shoot more of her vines. This attack was the first to make contact with Ganon, wrapping around and around his body and stopping his movements.
"Link! Now!" Saria yelled, straining at the effort of holding back Ganon.
The boy needed no further urging and leapt into action, drawing his sword and striking at Ganon as soon as he could.
I could tell that it was going to fail though. The smirk on the evil king's face gave it all away. In the split second before Link's attack would've hit Ganon exploded magic around him.
The wave of magic made the air feel heavy and warm. I wanted to close my eyes, but the shock I saw in front of me kept them wide open. Not only had Saria's vines burned away and Link pushed all the way back to Tetra...but the Sage's magic rebounded. Both Saria's and Nabooru's.
