Professor: Hey everyone. Sorry about putting this chapter off for months. Been going through some stuff that both makes it hard to write and find time to write.

I don't own any of the characters, sadly.

When Saria and Darunia thought they were battling Kalle Demos and instead ended up facing Jalhalla; when Quill and Impa tried to fight Gohma only to be stuck battling Molgera; as Link and Nabooru suddenly faced Kalle Demos; while the Doctor, Amy, and Rauru fought for their lives against Gohma...Tetra slept. She slept for days and days, never aware of the danger that her friends were facing for her sake and the sake of the Great Sea. The princess slept, surprisingly safe in the protection of Ganondorf. But she dreamt, dreamt of worlds far, far away. Of strange flying contraptions and people talking in little boxes. Of stars and ships and aliens with zippers in their foreheads. Dreams filled with both the birth of beloved family members, and the funerals of them after a long war. Of giant metal men and lasers and refusing her own name and of a big bad wolf.

'He needs you now more than ever young one...'

...

At almost the exact same time, all four doors slid down, breaking the enchantment that held the main door in place, and showing the tired, injured, and weary friends behind each one.

Link and Nabooru were first, not surprisingly. The Hero had fought Kalle Demos before, but it was the mere surprise at being greeted by the wrong creature that took so long for them to defeat it. Bearing nothing worse than a scratch upon the Gerudo's head, which she healed the moment she had time to take a breath. Following them were Saria and Darunia, the Kokiri being carried by her much larger friend and, not looking physically injured, but instead strained and mentally weary. Their fight with Jalhalla had not been a fun one. Not a few seconds later, the third door slid down to reveal Amy, Rauru, and the Doctor, all three sweating from the heat of their battle, and the lava that had surrounded the one called Gohma. And last, but not least, came Impa and Quill, the former being carried by her friend as they limped away from the room that held Molgera.

Instantly, the four groups came together and shared their stories in the center of the room, the Sages healing the injuries that they could, spending more time with Saria and Impa.

Apparently Ganon hadn't been able to recreate the mask that had given Jalhalla a body. That was centuries of dark magic that he didn't have the time to recreate. So, the monster had simply taken control of the tiny Sage, forcing her to fight her friend instead. A tough battle later, but Darunia returned as the victor, a combined effort of his power and Saria's to expel the Poe Queen and kill her. As for Impa, her power was greatly reduced against the sandwort, but when she went into its body, and turned the shadows there against it, Molgera didn't stand a chance. Physically draining, but rewarding to see it crash and kill itself, almost of its own accord. Quill watched the fight, thinking about how this must have been close to what Link had done to the original creature.

Link, for his part, was scanning the room. Something had caused them to fight the wrong monsters, but he didn't know what. His eyes narrowed as he gazed at the ceiling above them. Maybe it was intuition after months of fighting across the Great Sea, or maybe it was the power of his Triforce piece telling him, but the hero knew that something was there. As quick as he could, he drew his bow, knocked an arrow, aimed, and fired it. The Wizzrobe flashed into view as he got hit before exploding in a puff of purple smoke.

Darunia huffed in distaste at the purple rupee that dropped on the ground next to them, "A quick death was merciful after what that creature did."

Link scooped up the small jewel, "I know, but we don't have the time to waste on another fight."

"He's right," Impa stood up, groaning at the soreness in her muscles, "Every moment we waste here is another moment that Ganon could be harming the princess."
