"I'm sorry, you're what?" Dean spluttered, Cas' cool hand still rubbing circles onto his back. Drinking the ice water to dislodge the toast stuck in his throat, he tilted his head, as if he'd misheard his little brother.

"Gabe and I are moving in together." Sam had a grin a mile wide, arm slung around Gabe.

"But...but.. but you're so young! And you've only been together for-"

"A year Dean-o." Gabe finished Dean's protests with a smile as wide as his loves.

"And I'm 22. I know my brains still a year from being fully developed, but I'm sure about this, swear it." Sam spoke in earnest, and even Cas could see how in love the two were.

"Well I believe, if you two think you're ready for this, then it's a very good idea. You two seem absolutely besotted with each other." Cas smiled softly, squeezing Deans hand slightly to tight to be anything but a warning.

"Thanks baby bro." Gabe shot him a grateful smile.

"And besides Dean-o, you got no leg to stand on. Look at what you did to my brother, and what he's done to you!" He smirked at the two boys deep red blushes.

"Alright, let's stop the before it gets to explicit." Sam cut Deans ready reply off with a calm tone, feeding Gabe a bit of syrup drowned french toast. Cas pretended to vomit at the sight, but in reality, was wishing Dean would do the same to him.

"Dean, do we have your blessing?" Sam genuinely valued his brother's opinion, and if he was truly against it, then Sam would have to reconsider.

Dean took a deep breath and speared another piece of bacon. Darting his eyes to the left he saw Cas looking longingly at the food and lifted the fork to his other half lips. Cas made a noise of happiness and gleefully ate the offering.

"Yeah. You have my blessing."

A sigh of relief escaped the couple opposite and the tension in the air dissipated. Breakfast continued on as normal, with far to much sugar for Gabe and about three helpings each for Dean and Sam.

With a promise to see each other again soon, and the persuasion to help them with the move Sam and Gabe parted ways.

"I can't believe they're moving into together," Cas murmured, a smile dancing on his face. His older brother was happy and in love and he deserves it and more.

"Maybe we should move into together." Dean proposed, starting up the impala's engine. The familiar purr filled the car and put a relaxed smile on Dean's freckled face.

"We're roommates Dean." Cas pointed out, a small chuckle chasing his words. A few moments passed as Dean focused on the road.

"Yeah but, like move out. And into a house. Together. Our home."

A silence filled the 67'chevy as Cas thought over the suggestion. The steady tick tick tick of the indicator was the only sound in the leather interior.

"I don't know." Cas finally sighed, curling his nails into the perfect china palms. Swinging the car round onto the college campus road, Dean picked up on the subtle undertones Cas was trying to hide.

"Do you... do you think I'll leave you again?" Deans voice with fragile with hurt.

"No! No. But....yes. Kinda? I'm sorry, I really am....but yes, I do."

"Castiel. Please don't apologise, you've done nothing wrong, nothing at all. I screwed up, I'm the one who gave you all these trust issues. Any way I can help I want to." Dean parked the car and opened the door, rushing over to be the gentleman and open his loves.

"You already do. Every time I wake up next to you, every time you smile at me, every time you kiss, hug, snuggle, caress, love me, you build my trust. Every time you compliment me, you bicker with me, you joke and you laugh. Every time you look at me as if I hung the moon, which is very time you look at me, you build my trust. But maybe we could wait a few more months? Till we've been together for a year? Then reconsider it. Because I want to, I really do, but I need a bit more time." Cas slipped out of the car and pressed a peck to Dean's perfectly carved cheekbone in thanks.

A dopey smile filled Dean's face as he blissfully followed his soulmate into their dorm.

"Of course my love." He murmured, catching up to Cas and intertwining the hands. Cas grinned and squeezed the calloused hand in his own.

A few months later

"Do we need anything else from the store?"  Dean called into the bedroom, grabbing his keys and wallet.

"Don't think so!" Cas called back. The creak of floorboards annoyed the arrival of the charcoal haired beauty.

"But you forgot the reusable bags." he continued, handing Dean a handful of burlap and fabric bags.

"My little planet saver." Dean awed, stealing a quick kiss from his loves coral lips. Cas blushed with happiness.

"Go on." Cas shooed Dean out the dark oak door, laughter lacing his words.

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" Dean demanded in mock hurt.

"No, but I'm hungry and all we have is some limp celery. Go!" Cas pushed the chuckling dean out the door and was about to close it before the sage eyed boy stuck his head back in.

"Kiss before I go?" He asked a perfect pout on his pretty pink lips.

"Sap." Cas chuckled, leaning and capturing the pursed lips in a tender embrace.

"Love you honeybee." Dean grinned, leaving a final peck on his soulmates delicate nose.

"Love you too sweetpea."  Cas beamed, before closing the door and turning around. The grin turned to a devilish smirk and he set to work.

"Cas? Why is the door locked, c'mon this stuffs heavy." Dean whined.

"One second!" Cas called, unlocking the bolt and opening the door.

"Why was the door locked, did someone try and break-in, are you ok-oh wow." Dean cut himself off, placing the shopping on the floor.

A steaming Italian dish lay on the dark teak wood table, along with candles, a bouquet of deep red roses, and a warm cherry pie. Classic rock played faintly from the stereo, and Cas stood, biting his lip and nervously wringing his hands.

"Happy one year Dean."
