Marius and Cosette see each other every day now. Yay.
Also Marius definitely has PTSD. Yay? He sees flashes of Mabeuf dying, of Gavroche dying, of Eponine dying in his arms.
Marius does not feel like the same person anymore, but he does know that he can rely on Cosette.
He is also unsure about Valjean. He doesn't seem like the same man that Marius saw at the barricade on bit. Suspicious...
One time Marius asks Valjean about the street that the barricade took place on.
Valjean is like, "Hmmm no memory of that place, sorry."
And Marius comes to the conclusion that there must have been some other man who looked a lot like Valjean at the barricade.
(He's wrong.)
