Inside the Mind of the 'Crazy' Girl

When I open my eyes

I see a different world

than all of you.

I see a violet sky

with diamonds for the stars

and every cloud has

a silver lining.

Even in the darkest storms

it's always there,

glittering in the dark.

The grass is a green,

the shade of a ripe apple.

Hiding in the blades

are millions of tiny life forms.

I don't particularly like them,

but I'm considerate of

their hard work and struggle to live.

I see an indigo ocean

in the dead of night.

It glows white

where the moonlight shimmers.

I'm in love with the sound of

the waves crashing against

the rocks on the shore.

I love the feeling of

sand between my toes.

I see you,

yes you.

I love you

no matter your

gender,

race,

religion,

sexuality,

everything.

You are beautiful.

People call me crazy

for accepting everyone.

If I'm crazy, then

we need a lot more

crazy people in the world.
