A Story Untold (Book 1) *COMPLETED*

4 years later

The first four years of my Hogwarts experience was a blur of normality, classes,quidditch games, friendship, and rivalries.

While Lily and I got on rather well at first, her distaste for my brothers antics made it rather difficult for us to be the best of friends.

Alice Prewett eventually broke out of her quiet shell and we became rather close. She is in fact who I consider to be my best friend.

Severus Snape became the center of attention for my brother and his friends. James infatuation with Lily along with Severus's closeness with her caused them to butt heads. Severus and I quickly became friends for I was alway the one to put a stop to my brothers nonsense.

As for my brother and his gang of misfits....

"Gooooood Morning Platform 9 3/4 the party has just arrived!" My brother screamed as he came through the platform barrier.

"James!" I hissed smacking him in the back of the head, "your drawing attention you bloody idiot!"

"Anne!" I heard Mother snap as she came through the barrier, "be nice to your brother!"

My jaw dropped, " Mum he started it!"

"And I'm finishing it! It's your fifth year! Can you to at least act your age?" She said shaking her head in aggravation, "I wish your father could have been here, he's much better at diffusing the arguments!"

"One more week mum and he will retire, just one more week and he will be home for good," I reminded her gently hugging her.

She sniffed for a second before letting go and wiping her eyes and pushing us towards the train, "Okay you two, better board the train before all the good seats get taken. I love you and tell Sirius I'm arranging for him to come home with us for Christmas holiday."

We nodded and boarded the train waving goodbye.

We made our way down the train corridor until we came across the compartment we were looking for.

"Hello boys, your leader has arrived!" James yelled busting through the door puffing his chest out.

"James the only thing your the leader of is the score board on being Rejected," Remus said lazily from behind his book.

"I'll have you know she's only rejected me 753 times," James sassed back.

"Point proven," Peter said through a mouth full of chips.

"Don't be mean to my Jamesy!" A loud dramatic voice exclaimed making me groan.

Sirius through his arms around James in a dramatic hug, "don't worry James I'll never reject you."

"Get off!" James pushed Sirius and then fixed his glasses.

Sirius laughed and turned towards me, "Well good morning beautiful."

"Speaking of rejection," Remus commented again, "Hello Anne."

"Hi Remmy! I said happily ignoring Sirius and plopping in between Peter and Remus.

"No Hello for me?" Sirius pouted.

"Bugger off!" I said rolling my eyes and turning to Remus.

"How was your summer?" I asked seriously.

Remus sighed and put his book down, "Not good. Mums sickness is getting worse and the stress from that is making my transformations worse, I was at St Mungo's for a week this summer after the most recent one."

My eyes widened and I slapped his arm, "and you didn't think to owl me?"

"There's not much you can do about it Anne," Remus said rubbing his arm, "there hasn't been a potion invented yet to cure it much less ease the effects, and there's no way you could join a blood thirsty werewolf during a full moon."

"My father is a famous Potioneer," I said matter of factory, "you know I've been trying to figure something out for you, Dads been giving me his input, plus now that I'm back at school I can get some help from Severus.."

A unison groan was made throughout the compartment.

"What do you see in the bloody git?" Sirius complained.

I turned red, "I don't see anything! He's one of my best friends! Plus he's not my type."

Everyone seemed to perk up at this statement and James looked at me wide eyed.

"Type!" He said freaking out, "but last year you said you didn't have a type, you said you weren't interested in guys yet."

"James," I said rolling my eyes, "I'm 15 going on 16, of course I'm starting to notice guys more."

"Who made you notice?" James questioned obviously upset.

I felt my face burn as the hand next to the boy to my right twitched.

"I am not telling you that," I stated embarrassed standing up, "I'm going to find Alice and Lily."

I ignored the multiple questions being thrown at me and ran out the door yelling, "See you to the prefect meeting Remus!"

When I finally found the compartment Alice, Lily, and Marlene were in I rushed to close the compartment door and then cast a silencing spell.

They all looked at me curiously and Alice hesitated before asking, "interesting summer Anne?"

"You could say that..." I said eyeing Marlene who rolled her eyes and stood up.

"I can see when I'm not wanted here.  Gossip away, I'll go find Dorcas and listen to her obsession over Potter," she said making her way to the door as I gagged at the mention of Dorcas's devotion to my brother, "FYI I can in fact keep a secret so I don't know why y'all insist on me leaving."

"Bye Marlene!" We all called.

"So why are we kicking out Marlene this time?" Lily asked curiously.

"My brother was hounding me on who I liked cause I said something about having a type," I said.

"What's so bad about that?"  Alice questioned.

"It was embarrassing considering the guy I like was in the carriage!" I explained.

At this they perked up and grinned really widely.

"So you finally realized you liked Sirius?!?!" Alice squealed bouncing in her seat.

Lily scoffed, "there is no way she likes Sirius, he is way to much like her toe rag brother."

"Well who do you think it is... Peter?" Alice shot back.

Lily grimaced, "obviously not, I'd hope she'd have better taste then him.  I was thinking more along the lines of Remus."

"No way!  He's to tame for her, Sirius has got the whole bad boy thing going on!" Alice argues.

"They argue like cats and dogs!" Lily shoots back.

"Opposites Attract!" Alice yells.

"Not when she hates him!" Lily yells.

"Are you talking about Anne and Sirius or you and James?"  Alice says smiling cheekily.

"Why you...." Lily stood up ready to tackle Alice.

"Ladies!!!" I screamed impatiently, making them stop and look at me.

"It's Remus," I admitted sheepishly looking at Alice.

"I like Remus."
