"ANNE!"

I woke up with a start in a cold sweat.

I looked at the end of my bed to see Lily looking at me with concern.

"Are you okay Anne?" Lily questioned, "you were tossing like a maniac."

"Yea.." I said slightly out of breath, "bad dream."

"Anne," Lily said exasperated, "we may not be close but I still consider you a friend, and I'm here to listen."

I smiled fondly at her, "really Lily. I'm fine."

She nodded in acceptance before standing up, "I'm eating breakfast with Severus this morning, I'll wait for you if you'd like to join?"

"I'd love to! I'll be down in a second," I said nodding to her

She left as I got up and got ready.  When I finished I went down and met up with Lily and we made our way to the great hall.

"Lily," Severus greeted before he noticed me, "Anne, I haven't got to spend time with you yet this year."

"Sorry it's hard to get away from my brother sometimes," I apologized.

"Ah yes, I keep forgetting you associate with that group of Neanderthals," Severus responded.

"Severus!" Lily scolded.

I laid a hand on her, "Lily honestly it's okay, they probably deserve it given how much they bully him."

"I can't see why they can't just leave him alone," Lily said irritably.

"Because Jamesy is obsessed with you and he's jealous of Severus," I said teasingly making both Lily and Severus blush.

"Anna-banana!!! Come forth!" I heard Sirius call from the Gryffindor table.

I rolled my eyes and looked at Lily and Severus, "I'm being summoned, I'll catch up later."

I made my way to the table to see only James, Peter, and Sirius there.

"Its Anne, not Anna dumbarse.  Where's Remus?" I questioned.

"Tonights the full moon Annie," James explained, "he's not quite feeling up to it."

"Tonights the full moon?" I asked slowly, "does that mean..."

Sirius interrupted me by plucking a little baggy full of leaves out of his pocket and opening it up, "come on everyone grab one."

We all grabbed one and stuck them in our mouths.

I took a few minutes to find a comfortable place to shove the leave before I decided to speak.

"Okay lads, remember no taking it out or you will have to start all over, Peter please do not swallow it," I ordered.

"When are we gonna start on the potion?" Sirius asked.

"Probably next week so Remus has time to heal," I explained to which they nodded.

"One month with leaves in our mouths, what fun!" Sirius said sarcastically.

I suddenly felt the pinching from the other day in the back of my head before it spread to my temples and my vision went black.

He wants you Anne

My vision cleared up and I looked around to see the guys hadn't even noticed what happened.

"Umm... did you hear that?" I turned to Peter who was sat next to me stuffing his mouth.

"Er wha?" He struggled to say with a mouth full of food making me grimace.

"Erm... nevermind," I said turning towards Sirius and James, "did you two hear something?"

"Besides the rattling of your brain?" James jokes making me hit him.

"Arse, I'm being serious, I heard someone say, 'he wants you Anne'" I explained which resulted in Sirius snorting.

"You must be losing your marbles Anne," Sirius said laughing.

James however looked concerned, "noone said anything Anne, are you feeling okay?"

I thought for a moment, "I guess I'm  fine, maybe I should skip classes today, get some rest in me."

"Go on," James said nodding his head to the door, "I'll take notes for you."

"Thanks Jamesy!" I said leaning over and kissing him on the cheek.

"You two are the most adorable siblings ever, and it makes me nauseous," Sirius said blandly.

"Please," I scoffed rolling my eyes, "he's only being sweet cause he saw me walk down here with Lily this morning."

James gasped, "I resent that!"

" well I'll catch you guys later okay?" I said waving off and making my way back to my dorm.

I was walking down the hall that was quite abandoned due to most students attending breakfast in the great hall.

I reached a particularly empty hallway when the pinching came back, but this time it was different.  This time it was like some put their hands around my head and tried to squeeze it until it pops

I stumbled to the wall and tried to hold myself up, through blurry eyes I saw the figure of an older man standing before me.

My vision slowly started to clear and I made out that the figure in front of me was transparent, obviously one of the Hogwarts ghosts.

I pushed off the wall and looked at her curiously.  She had long brown hair with streaks of gray through it, hazel eyes, and glasses perched on the end of her nose.

I tilted my head and said, "I've never seen you around here?  What is your name?"

The ghost smirked and flew in front of me, our faces were a breath away.

"Your a gift child, and the dark one treasures gifts, keep your gifts a secret," she whispered before she faded right before my eyes.

Keep my gifts a secret?

"What in the hell is that suppose to mean?" I muttered.
