The month with the leaves in or mouths passed with much difficulty.
Peter had to start over twice on the first day. The Potion blew up in the faces of Remus and I, four times. Overall I've had it with this process and was looking forward to it being over.
Remus has been distant with me since our night studying. The only time he really conversed with me was when we worked on the Potion.
Sirius seemed to have noticed and has been questioning me to no end, resulting in me ignoring him.
James was so distracted with Quidditch captain duties he hardly even noticed the leaf was in his mouth. In fact it didn't disable him from yelling his lungs out at me during practice.
"POTTER! WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! THE SNITCH IS RIGHT THERE!!!" James yelled at me from below making me roll my eyes and fly down to him.
"James..." I whispered growling, "If we successfully transform tonight and I'm something carnivorous, I will eat you."
James face turned sheet white and he whimpered before cough and yelling, "good job team! You're dismissed!"
I nodded in satisfaction and flew down marching my way to the girls locker room to change.
I was wiping sweat off my forehead when I was stopped by Sirius who was leaning against the door casually waiting for me.
I groaned as I approach him, "Sirius can't this wait I just finished Practice, I need a shower, and I need to change."
"Nope, we are talking even if I have to follow you into the girls locker room," he said casually.
"You're lucky I'm the only female on Gryffindor's team," I said glaring at him pointedly and waving for him to follow me in.
I made my way to my locker and grabbed my clothes making my way to the showers.
"Stay in there and start talking Black," I called to him and starting stripping down.
"You've been avoiding me," He states point blank.
"I dont know what your talking about?" I said casually washing it hair.
"Damnit Anne, you've been ignoring me ever since I asked you what happened with Remus!" He exclaims.
I roll my eyes and say, "I'm surprised Remus hasn't said anything to you."
Sirius didn't say anything for a bit, "I may be close to Remus, but Anne you're my Best friend. I don't like seeing you sad."
I felt myself smile a bit before turning the water off and drying myself off with a towel. I got dressed and made my way back to where Sirius was standing by the lockers.
"Well when you put it that way then I guess I can tell you," I said jokingly before taking a breath and saying, "I basically told him that I liked him and he just ignored me and said let's get back to studying."
