They were the best of friend's...
"I honestly hope that one day you'll feel so strongly for someone that you'll allow yourself to love them."
He was lost, broken, and craving love..
"Anne If loving someone was easy, it wouldn't be an adventure."
She...

I was sat in the boys dormitory on Sirius's bed skimming through the transfiguration book, while the boys were staring at me expectantly.
"Well?" Sirius asked impatiently from his spot next to me.
I closed the book and sighed, "Well first we need to gather supplies including mandrake leaves..." "Easy!" James interrupted, "the second years are taking care of some as we speak."
I narrowed my eyes at him, " as I was saying... we need mandrake leaves, also we need dew that hasn't seen sunlight or been stepped on for seven days, we need to keep that in a safe dark place once attained."
"Slightly harder but not impossible," Sirius noted.
"We must keep the Mandrake leaf in our mouths for a month," I continued.
"A month! How am I suppose to eat!" Peter exclaimed.
"Perferably from one full moon to the next, when the next full moon comes we must take the potion we brewed and it must be in the moons direct rays, no cloud coverage," I continued.
"Much more difficult," Remus noted.
"And we can't take the potion until lightening strikes," I finished.
"This sounds impossible," James deadpanned flopping into his bed.
"What Happens if anything messes up?" Remus asks.
"Well you would have to start the process all over again," I explained.
"So that just means we can't mess up!" Sirius said standing up and offering me a hand.
"Anne and I will go get the mandrake leaves, Jame you and Peter can read up on any other ingredients needed from the potions supply and grab those, Remus maybe you can go into the forbidden forest and see if you can find any dew, there's a lot of coverage there so none of it should have gotten sunlight," Sirius ordered.
Sirius dragged me out of the boys dorm and we headed towards the greenhouses.
"So what's the update on Amus?" Sirius asked casually.
"Amus? What in the bloody hell is that?" I asked confused.
"You and Remus's power couple name," Sirius stated like it was obvious.
"Amus? Really? That's the best you could come up with?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"I also thought of Renne but I liked Amus more cause it was close to An..."
"La la la la... Virgin ears please!" I yelled slamming my hands over my ears.
Sirius rolled his eye, "your about as immature as James."
"I resent that, I don't obnoxiously fawn over the guy I like," I retorted.
Sirius snorted, "Oookay... you Potters and your ego's."
"You love us Potter's," I said smiling smugly.
"Yea," Sirius said rubbing his neck, "yea I do."
I looked over to see Sirius looking down with a Serious face.
"How are you?" I questioned snapping him out of his daze.
"Good at ever!" He said laughing.
"You know that's not what I meant, how are things at home?" I asked again.
"Same as always," Sirius muttered sourly, "Mother is disappointed, Father does whatever Mother says, Reggie just wants to make them proud."
"You've never had a complaint about Reg before," I noted curiously.
"We got in a bit of a spat this summer, he's mad because when he asked what I was gonna do when I left here, I told him the truth," Sirius answered solemnly, "I told him I would become an Auror and move out and never look back."
"So he's ignoring you because your leaving him," I asked.
"Why must you always make me out to be the dick?" Sirius complained.
I shrugged and messed up his hair which he proceeded to jump away and growl at me, "because it's fun."
"Whatever, just leave the hair alone," he complained whilst trying to straighten his hair back out.
"That explains Reggie's new group of friends, Severus has been expressing concern about him hanging out with Avery and Mulciber," I said thoughtfully.
"The only reason Snivellus is concerned is because he misses Reggie being stuck up his arse," Sirius snorted.
I hit him, "be nice, Severus is a good person, a lot better than you most of the time."
Sirius sneered, "Don't compare me to that greasy haired git."
I halted, rolled my eyes, and gestured towards the greenhouse entrance, "let's just get the leaves you prick."
Sirius bowed sarcastically, "yes your majesty."
I pushed him through the door and walked away to scan the plants.
"How many should we grab?" Sirius questioned from the other side of the greenhouse.
I shrugged, "at least two baggies full, we have no idea how many tries this will take."
"You're right Peter is pretty incompetent," Sirius said as he transfigured some gardening tools into plastic baggies.
I scoffed and glanced over my shoulder and said, "Actually I was referring to you and James."
Sirius put his hand over his heart, "that hurt me Anne... right where it hurts."
I walked up to him and switched his hand over to the other side of his chest, "well good thing your heart is on this side cause that could have ended badly, dumbarse."
He pouted as I snatched the plastic baggies from his hand and started filling both of them to the brim.
"I think the plant you need is in greenhouse 2 Poppy, I'll show you," I faintly heard the voice of professor sprout.
I turned and looked at Sirius who's eyes widened.
I looked at the bags and shrunk them and the proceeded to shove them into Sirius's pockets.
Sirius cursed, "we should have brought the invisibility cloak."
I hissed at him, "well think fast they can't know we are in here stealing leaves from plants."
Sirius furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me, "I have an idea but you have to promise not to punch me."
"What are you talk..." I was cut off by Sirius grabbing me by the waist and planting his lips on mine.
He picked me up and set me on the table. At first I was too shocked to respond but then I heard the footsteps get closer and quickly wrapped my legs around his and responded to his kisses.
We heard a gasp and then an uncomfortable cough.
We broke apart to see Professor Sprout with a blood red face and an uncomfortable glare, and Madam Pomfrey with a hand over her mouth
"Madam Pomfrey will you please escort these two to their head of house, I will get those leaves for you," Professor Sprout said still glaring angrily at us.
Sirius and I put our heads down as we followed Madam Pomfrey out the greenhouse.
"Not bad Potter," Sirius whispered with a smug grin.
