I sat at the Gryffindor table in my red quidditch robes glaring at someone two table's over in similar yellow Quidditch robes.

I was grumbling angrily while stabbing my eggs.  The stupid twat boasts arrogantly about how he is gonna destroy the Gryffindor quidditch team today.

I start stabbing my eggs harder and harder muttering, "I can't wait to embarrass the living hell out of the stupid twat, maybe he will get hit by a bludger, maybe it will hit him so hard he will get permanent brain damage."

James across from me was nodding enthusiastically, he pointed his fork at me while munching on his breakfast, "Good thinking Claws, keep that mindset and we will win."

Lily who was sat on my left shot him a glare and stilled my hand, "Anne calm down, he will get his, now stop mutilating your eggs."

"OI JAMES!" We all heard and turned to see Johnny, one of our Beaters, coming towards us, "We got a problem."

James looked alarmed and said, "shhhhh, its quidditch day!  We are not allowed to speak of problems."

Johnny rolled his eyes before saying,"yea well its important, Andrew woke up this morning vomiting his guts out, I took him to the hospital wing and Pomfrey says he is in no state to play."

James had a look of horror on his face, "What?!?! No, I'll go talk to Madam Pomfrey, he has to play."

I snorted, "and how is he gonna hit bludgers while puking James?"

"He can puke on the Hufflepuffs for all I care, I just need a beater!" James exclaimed.

"Hello my lovely people how are you this morning?"  Sirius said sitting down on my other side.

We all went silent and stared at him and he looked at us oddly, "Is there something on my face."

"Did you hear Sirius?  Andrew can't  play today, he woke up vomiting," I said casually.

Sirius winced, "Ohh that's not good, so who is gonna play for him?"

James smiled a sweet smile at Sirius, making him narrow his eyes, "Sirius old buddy, old pal, do you remember try outs the beginning of this year?"

"Yes..." Sirius said suspiciously.

"Remember how I said I wouldn't make you try out for beater this year if you promised to be our reserve beater?" James asked cheekily.

"I remember you saying it, I also remember telling you no," Sirius said boredly.

"Come on mate," Johnny said desperately, "We were the dream team last year."

"Literally," I said snorting again, "all the females in Gryffindor, literally called you that."

"I said no Anne," Sirius said glaring at me pointedly.

Remus who had been quietly eating next to James finally spoke up, "You'd be able to hit bludgers at Henre Bones."

Sirius sat quietly for a second glancing at Henre who was still boasting across the hall.

"I'll do it," Sirius finally said making us all cheer.

I looked at Remus who glanced up at me and I mouthed, "thank you."

He smiled weakly and nodded before turning back to his breakfast.

"Alright team!" James said standing up, "finish up and meet me down at the pitch to warm up before the game!"

We sent him a thumbs up as he marched out the great hall.

"I'm gonna kill him," I said blankly staring at James.

"No you're not," Sirius says pushing his sweaty hair out his face and swing his beaters bat around.

"Do you see him?!?" I exclaimed gesturing to James who was yelling till he was red in the face and there were veins popping out of his neck.

"I got this," Sirius said before yelling to catch James attention.

"Oi James mate!"

James looked over and raised an eyebrow.

"Cool it down, Lily won't be to fond of how much you're yelling!  She's sitting in the stands already," Sirius called back.

James had a look of horror on his face as he whipped around and spotted Lily in the stands, "Okay team!  That's good enough, make your way to the boys locker room to rest and have a team meeting."

I snorted and looked at Sirius who was grinning smugly, "you're a saint."

He flipped his hair making me snort again, "I know."

I was glaring down Henre's smug face as Madam Hooch explained the rules.

I gripped the broom hard and waited for the whistle to blow.

Once I heard the familiar whistling I shot past Henre almost knocking him off his broom.

I stayed 20 feet ahead of James at all times whirling and dodging the vicious bludgers.

James and I moved in sync passing the quaffle back and forth and making shot after shot.

We've come to realize our third chaser is more useful for blocking interceptions.

I made another score making Gryffindor cheer wildly. I turned around and smirked smugly at Henre who was cursing and hitting his broom in anger.

James had the quaffle in his hands again weaving through the hufflepuff players.  He caught my eye and nodded making me reach one arm out in preparation.

He tossed the quaffle towards me and just as it was about to touch my finger tips a bludger came out of nowhere crashing into my arm.

I screamed in pain gripping my arm that was obviously broken from the odd angle it was in.

Gryffindor booed angrily as the a whistle sounded out repeatedly.  I flew down towards the ground where the med tent was.

"BONES!" Hooch screamed angrily, "RETURN THE BAT TO YOUR BEATER IMMEDIATELY OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!"

I approached madam Pomfrey who glanced at my arm.

"Hmmm," she hummed, "this isn't anything episky can't fix."

She pointed her wand towards my arm and muttered, "episky."

I clenched my teeth in pain as my arm snapped back in place.

"Move it around," she ordered and I did as told rotating it in circles.

"Wonderful," she said firmly, "you may go back out Miss Potter but please be careful."

I nodded and jumped back on my broom flying out of the med tent and back into action.

I glanced around and saw that Henre was no longer on the field and his reserve was in place.

I looked around curiously and saw madam Pomfrey levitating a body off the field making me grin.
