Derick 's POV

I did not talk to my mom when she opened the door. I run down and hugged Athena tightly.

"Are you really okay?"I checked her and kissed her forehead.

She just nodded and hid automatically at my back when my mom came.

Evitha was sitting at the sofa kaya ko siya inalalayan papunta doon.

"Sit down Diane!Don't be shy!"Evitha smiled.

My mom sit beside me. I still didn't talk.

"So... I heard that you wanted to abort the baby?"Evitha asked.

I looked at my mom with anger.

"Yes.That's for my son! I don't want him to..."she tries to explain.

"For you mom!Did you ask me if I want to?"I shouted.

She looks at me with a teary eyes.

"Son!Your future and your life will be..."she answered.

"Isn't it unfair to take away my chance to take the responsibility of being a good father?Na hindi ko man lang naranasan sa dad ko?"I asked in anger.

"Derick!How could you say that?"tanong niyang naiiyak.

"If I'm not wrong...we keep on moving because we're trying to run away from dad?Hindi ba?!"I shouted.

She couldn't answer.

"No wonder why you wanted to abort the baby...dahil ayaw mo'ng  magkaroon ng responsibilidad ang anak mo.Good to know na hindi nagmana ang anak mo sa'yo."Evitha answered.

"Shut up!You don't know everything!"mom exclaimed.

"Yeah?Me too!Masyado ka kasing selfish mom!"then I stand up with anger.

I took Athena's hand and then we left them.

"Derick...tama ba ito?"tanong niya sa akin when we're at the side of the lake.

"What do you mean?"tanong ko rin because I don't really understand.

"Yong ipinaglaban mo ako sa mommy mo.Yong tayo?Tama ba?"she asked again.

I sighed and held her hand. I placed it on my face.

"I don't know why you think that much...I love you Athena. You and my baby.Please...lumaban ka naman!"I explained to her.

"Okay.I-I..."she couldn't continue.

Tinitigan ko siya at hinihintay ang sasabihin niya but iniiwas niya ang mukha niya.Nakayuko lang talaga siya.

"Hey!"sambit ko sa kanya while smiling.

"Naku naman!Nahihiya na nga ako eh...seryoso kasi!"she answered.

I stopped on smiling. I just wait for her words.

"I... I love you too!"sagot niya.

I felt like that word makes me jump. I hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"I love you too my Wom!"wika ko sa kanya.

Bumitaw siya sa pagkayakap sa akin.

"Ano'ng Wom?Ano yan?Sino yan?"naiinis na tanong niya.

"Wom..as in Woman of mine!"sabay kibit balikat.

"Ahh!Okay...eh di ang itatawag ko rin sa'yo.... Mom?"tanong niya.
