Hello. Leia speaking (obviously).

I just wanted to summarise a bit all of what had happened in this story, and clear some things up. (Seems like that's all I do nowadays.)

First of all, I really enjoyed most of you guys' comments. I used to get awful reviews on my stories, because it wasn't realistic enough, because the characters were too plain and that there was a lack in the character development. I don't quite believe it's true; at least, I try not to write to give this impression to readers. I just like to write things that are real.

About Lee- I got a lot of criticism going on about her clingy, bossy attitude. And I don't understand why. I created Lee in my head as this selfish, self-centred, moody girl, but who was yet so loveable in many, many ways. And isn't that the case in most humans? I can relate to her, a lot. People gave me crap for making her reactions so ridiculous. But that's what she is. She is an over thinker- she feels everything too deeply, and although she knows she has to change, she knows that she will always be the same. She is a Gemini; she is independent... But not too much. She has this clingy side that I find kind of endearing; that is in each one of us.
People saying that she blamed it all on Michael and hated her for that didn't quite get the point of their relationship. She got pregnant unexpectedly, which caused her emotions to go wild. She knows how she's been with Michael, and in the book, she blames it on herself.

The love she feels for him is so tender, yet burning- she is in a situation where she doesn't know whether to act as a girl who's her age, or a mature adult of 30 years old. She is in love and feels the emotions of the first real love story she'd ever had- jealousy, burning passion and adoration, but is torn between taming them and behaving like a normal adult to fit in, or to let them all out and that causes her overthinking in many, many situations.

About the Emma situation. It is what it is; people can be cruel and Lee wasn't completely a victim, but didn't choose that. It adds up to the anger she feels inside most of the time- it fuels it.

People said they couldn't get her. Hopefully now, they can.

About Michael- I think the character development is quite important with him. He changed from what you could call a stupid teenage boy to a somewhat intelligent and responsible adult. People who said Lee changed him were wrong; he changed himself. Love did, too. He thought he was someone who could never love, and he found himself thinking about this girl every day, being too shy to tell her that he felt overwhelmed by it all. He blamed it on himself, too. He has a fire temperament; he says things too fast. He is impulsive and cheeky. But there is this side that I love; against all odds, he can be surprisingly mellow when he does realise what love truly is. As stupid and cheesy as it sounds.

Some of you guys really got the point of it all- which made me glad. You're free to wonder about Lee and Michael a bit more, who knows, maybe it's not the last of them.

Thanks for reading,

Leia
