Chapter 9/ The Predator

It was late at night and it was time to eat. I quickly left before anyone noticed I was gone. I leaned my back on the wall of the kitchen and closed my eyes. I cleared my mind to try and get the flowers to stay down. I don't know why I still have these flowers. They are starting to get annoying. Maybe I don't have the Hanahaki disease because of Alex....I opened my eyes not realizing that everyone was already in the cafe. I suddenly heard screaming and I looked over. "THE WALL IS ALIVE!" Oh god. This guy is a idiot. I sighed and moved so everyone could see me. They all seemed scared and creeped out. Maybe I have to much black on... I mean I literally blend in with the wall... I walked over towards Kayden and sat down. She pokes me and I ignored her. There's so much on my mind. She poked me again and I looked down at her. She pointed at something...more like someone...I looked to the seat in front of me and there he was. Oh god. I shivered in fear as he intensely stared at me. "Addy my dear~ did you miss me" He said with those...eyes. Like I was some kind of...prey. I looked at the floor and saw this one spot on it that looked so interesting. The boy...no the beast chuckled darkly as he stared me down. I felt so weak. "Addy my love why won't you look at me~" I felt Kayden's hand slide onto mine as she looked to the side. Her breathing suddenly became uneven. "I-I'm s-sorry p-predator...I-I j-just feel sick...." I said fear laced in every word. "Awwww do I need to take care of my love~" I tensed up. His way of taking care of people is not the best... "n-no Kayden I-is h-helping me" "y-yeah" she said smiling scarcely. She squeezed my hand for reassurance. She knew that I was terrified of him. After what he did I can never forgive him... He chuckled once more and leaned over the table. He grabbed my shirt, pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. Kayden's voice echoed in my head. "Who does he THINK HE IS. I am the best at taking care of people. He's too rude to help anyone. I'm sorry but I'm just stating the truth." I could even hear a faint scoff at the end. I chuckled under my breathe and he let go of my shirt. He licked his lip with his freakishly long tongue and left me and Kayden. "How can you not stick up to that prick," Kayden turned to face me. "He's rude and technical he sexually harassed you and you do nothing about it. Addy stand up for yourself!" I bit my lip and it started bleeding. Kayden sighed and thumped my forehead. "Stop" she knows that's a bad habit that I have. I ruffled my hair and sat there in silence. This was how we were for a while. Sitting in comfortable silence.
