Addy Pov

I screamed as Blaze put a iron rod through my arm. I cried and screamed out for Kayden or Alex to save me. But they weren't there. Blaze grabbed my chin and was ready to stick the rod through my eye. She was stopped from someone. "Don't. We need her to be able to see." I heard the person walk away as blaze huffed. "Well then. If I can't physically torture I can mentally break you~" I felt myself become sleepy as I fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up in the dreamscape but everything was burned down. Everything I work to make...Gone. I noticed Kayden. Her eyes were black. I tried to run to her but she stabbed me with a poison dagger. I didn't fear death but....I was afraid. She kept stabbing me and telling me I was a bad friend. "YOU LEFT ME! YOU DIDN'T THINK TWICE ABOUT HOW I FELT. YOU NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT HOW MUCH PAIN I WOULD GO THROUGH. YOU LEFT ME BEHIND LIKE I WAS A MERE SHADOW. WAS IT BETTER? DID SHE GIVE YOU A WORLD I COULD NEVER DREAM OF?! OR MAYBE IT'S ME BEING THE SELF-CENTERED ONE HERE." She threw the last words out, barely a hint of sarcasm. But it's enough. The words hurt me more than the Physical pain. She crookedly smiled as she took the dagger and put it to her throat. I screamed out not wanting her to do it. I couldn't move because of the poison. "IM SORRY! PLEASE DON'T!" I fell to the ground as I tried my hardest to save her. "Pathetic you can't even save me." She slit her throat as flowers and blood came out. I screamed in emotional pain as I cried on the floor. As she fell to the ground, her body disappeared in a flourish of purple and silver butterflies. My tears melted with the blood coming out of my deep wound. The mixture of red and tears is beautiful.

I screamed out as I looked around. I was in a cage. My clothes were soaked in blood. I felt a burning sensation on my back. I looked in the tiny mirror in the cage. My back was covered with tattoos. They all ripped through my skin. I screamed. My body was tainted with demon symbols. They burned. I was horrified hoping that this is one all big dream. I suddenly heard knocking at the giant door that blocked me from the outside world. I looked and saw something slip through the little hole. It was a journal. I picked it up and saw a small note in one of the pages.

Hello. I heard your screaming and your pain. I was the same way at first. But now pain isn't a emotion I feel. I understand how much grief and sadness you are under right now. It helps to draw. I know your Insanity name is the Artist. I did some studying on you. Sorry but the journal doesn't have magic pages like your other one. There are some pens and pencil under a small brick in the wall. Have fun~ Love Lisey

Her handwriting was pretty. Maybe drawing will ease some of the pain.

So I drew the one thing I missed the most.

My family.

Kaydens PoV

I looked at Vincent. "Do you know what happened to her? That's clearly not addy." Then it snaps. My eyes widen and I put a hand over my mouth. "That woman..Blaze? I think that's what addy called her...she said that she would come back for addy..." a small smile plays on my lips. Maybe I can kill 'Blaze' this time."

"It's not blaze. I can tell. It's someone else but I'm sure it's not Addy. Look at her horn. There's a red spot on it. Addy's horns don't turn red unless she feels threatened." The shadow whispered, hissing.

"Well of course it's not addy. And I was talking about Blaze taking her somewhere in secret."

"Hmm. I noticed that Addy went into the bathroom. Maybe you should go check on her?"

I shake my head. "Give me a minute." I reach out with my mind, trying to find Addy's energy. Nothing. "Our connection would reach if she was in the bathroom." Vincent's eyes waver, as if questioning. I close my eyes and my brow furrows in frustration. "I can't sense her. Just like before." I open my eyes and they turn red. I sigh. "Would you have any other ideas of where she might be?"

"I don't know. Addy is unpredictable. Try your room. I'll look in the dining area. Take this just in case you find her and you need to contact me." His shadow suddenly ripped a piece of his arm off and it formed into a necklace. It had black swirls and a red ruby in the middle of it.

"Okay Wait Wait Wait. I just said that I couldn't feel the connection from the bathroom. That means I would feel it throughout the headquarters. I'll keep that just in case but all I know is that she's not back at home."

The shadow looked at me like I was stupid. "She's here. I haven't felt anyone leave the headquarters but I don't know if she's alive in here. I feel something dead. But I can't put my finger on it. So go look for her."

I break the stare by looking at the ground. "Don't look at me like that," I mumble, almost too quiet for him to hear. The shadow rolled its eyes and disappeared, leaving the necklace behind. I pick it up.

Sharp pain stabs through my head as I put it in my pocket. What the actual hell. I snarl as it comes and goes methodically.

I feel myself burst into a sprint. I never noticed that fiery sparks kicked up at my heels as I skidded around the corner. Everything is a blur around me. All sound is blocked out. All I feel is blinding pain. It gets worse as I get closer to Madness. No. No. I'm not blacking out again. I can't. My lungs and heart burn. My head continues pulsing and throbbing painfully.

Will it ever end?
