When Insanity Strikes

Chapter 12

I stared at the message board. I was pissed. There was a picture of me laying on Justin with a fawn laying on my lower leg. Alex was asleep on my thigh and Predator was curled up beside my head. I growled at the fact that it was on a giant message board. Kayden was beside me blushing. "Ughhhh I hate Ve right now." I nodded, agreeing with her. "It doesn't surprise me though," she said, shrugging. "Me either," I said as we walked to the lunchroom. I grabbed a chocolate bar from the bar and sat at our table. I saw my little sister and I waved. She saw me and rolled her eyes. I shrugged and sat in between Kayden and Justin. Kayden had an apple and water. "Food isn't necessary," she mumbled, laying her head on the table. I held a bread roll front of Kayden's face. I could tell that her thief instincts kicked in and she instantly took it. I smirked at her and raised at me. She glared at me and stuck her tongue out playfully. I giggled and looked over at Justin, Who had a whole Thanksgiving feast. I decided to try and seduce him into giving me food. I did my best puppy dog eyes and looked up at him. He looked at me than the food than me. He shook his head and I whimpered. He huffed and gave me a cookie. I ate it out of his hand and silently celebrated my victory. I looked over at Alex who had...Donuts. I'm not surprised. Levi was just eating celery. I swear he is the most adorable thing I have ever met. I looked back at Kayden who was staring intensely at someone. I looked at what she was staring at and tilted my head. She narrowed her eyes, jumped back and bared her fangs. She looked at the clock. "I-I have to go. Vincent and I are fixing a sound system today." She chuckled nervously before turning into a fawn and running off. I noticed Vincent get up and run off, following Kayden. I sighed feeling kinda left out but it's fine. Ve stood up and made everyone quiet down. "Today we will put you in Fractions for all newcomers. Fractions are basically the ranking you will be and what type of training you will do." We all cheered ready for the test.

First test/Destruction

We were in the middle of a field. Ve snapped and 3 dummies appeared. "Your goal is to kill these dummies in the most destructive way possible. Addy show em how it's done." I smirked and stood as far as possible. I held my dusty sketchbook and threw bombs. I threw them out and closed my book. "Boom." The bombs exploded and fake blood was everywhere. I smiled evilly at the crowd and licked my lips. Most of them seemed creeped out and scared. As the next leader, I have to make a good impression~. Kayden walked into the field. But it wasn't her. Her face was the same, but her hair was brown and it came down to her shoulders. Her eyes flicked back and forth and she clenched her fists. One of the dummies bled from where its ears would be. Her gaze swept the crowd and she vanished, without a trace. I wiped a bit of blood off of my ear. I could feel the tension in the air. "Okay, people give it your best shot," I observed everyone doing the test. Some did good and some did...Not so good. I sighed and kept an eye open for 'Kayden'.

Second Test/Stealth

We were in a room. It had boxes and crates and other things to hide in. I know this room way to well. " The next test is about your Agility, Stealth, and Ability to fight without weapons. I have several highly trained guard around the room. I will also be in this mission as an opponent. Your job is the steal a flag from us. Once everyone has a flag the test and timer will stop. You may pair up if you choose." I decided to work alone. "Go!" I turned into blood and hid on a house. I'm going for Ve. I waited for someone to try and sneak up on her so I could use them as a diversion. I closed my eyes and turned semi-human. I was in my Mirvort form. I looked like a shadow of a demon. I chuckled as someone finally distracted Ve. I charged at Ve at top speed and stole a flag. She tried to turn around and attack me but I was quick enough to disappear. I sat on the roof and smirked down at Ve. Her face darkened and she looked like she would murder me. She jumped up and got closer to me as I stood up and stretched ready for a fight. She threw her fist at me as her purple hair flew from the intense power. I closed my eyes. I let it get close to me and I grabbed her fist. I opened my eyes and they were a bright red color. I crushed her fist in my hand and she winced. I AM A GOD. No one should dare defy my power. I felt myself suck in my breath. I came back to reality and saw Ve's bleeding hand. I let go and looked away. I noticed everyone stop what they were doing. All eyes were on us. "I'm fine go back to your fights." Everyone resumes to what they were doing and Ve pat my head with her bloody hand "Good job. Go to the other gate" I walked out and sat down at the 3rd gate. I feel weird. My throat feels like sandpaper again. I didn't feel like myself.
