When Insanity Strikes

Chapter 13/ Ice Cream.

[5 days later after the incident]
I tightly wrapped my hands around Kayden's throat. She did something so bad that I can never forgive her...
And it all started with...ICE CREAM

[3 hours earlier]
"KAYDEN WHERE'S THE ICE CREAM!?" "I ATE IT" there was a moment of silence. Two more hours of silence. I was on the roof. "ADDY WHERE ARE YOU" I screeched and fell on her as I choked her.

And that's how we got in this situation. I was ripped off of Kayden as I hissed and hid behind the person who forced me off of her. It was my meme boi Alex. They sighed and shook their head. They grabbed my collar and walked out of the room with a trail of plants behind them. They cuddled me as I sat there salty about my ice cream. They opened a chocolate bar and held it to my mouth. I angrily ate it as I sat on their lap. I act like a child when I'm salty. So this was pretty normal. I bopped there nose and they slightly giggled. "It really not a good idea to attack people." I pouted as they lectured me about how choking people can be bad.

Kayden's Pov
Crowley would not leave me alone. I layed on the floor, my legs propped up on my bed, with Crowley meowing in my face. I ALREADY FEEL GUILTY. YOU AREN'T MAKING IT ANY BETTER. I roll my eyes. Black cats. Always making things worse. I close my eyes, instantly regretting it. I was taken back to the burning. The flames. The heartbreak.
      "Everyone Leave as fast as you can!" I heard the teachers say. It wasn't calming whatsoever. I know it didn't soothe my nerves. Screams rang through the hallway. It hurt my sensitive ears. I heard someone scream and I sprint into the classroom i heard it from to help someone stuck under a desk, only to evacuate them and get myself trapped in the classroom. Flames leaped through the air around me. Tears spring to my eyes, blurring my vision, allowing to see the red and orange ribbons dancing in front of me. This is it. This is the point of no return...my skin crawls with the burning sensation. It hurts. So much. I don't know what to do..
    I open my eyes. Point of No Return...the song I sang when I almost died...and when I first met addy. I put my hands over my face and I groan.
     I am the actor.
     I can't be burnt down.

Addy Pov.
After the lecture and the cuddles Alex let me free. I decided that it was time to introduce the Actor and The gardener. I giggled and climbed the wall again. I heard Alex sigh as they walked to the kitchen. I smirked and jumped on them. Alex was kinda weak but they still are a good distraction. And they are my best friend. That's aside I jumped on Alex and they let out a really deep scream. It kinda scared me. They looked at me scared half to death. I giggled and they started lecturing me again. "YOU HAVE TO STOP DOING THAT! THAT SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH" their face was really red. I smirked and booped their nose. They sighed "I really can't stay mad at you." I giggled a little "you want to meet my friend? I think you know her but I don't think you guys were properly introduced." "I wouldn't mind meeting her." I grabbed their hand and dragged them to my hangout spot and smiled "stay there for a moment." I turned into a pile of blood and zipped myself to Kayden. She was laying on her bed. I was still a blob of blood so I decided to scare her. I 'crawled' onto the bed and went around her neck. "ADDY I SWEAR," She screeched. "WHY. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" I giggled and zipped beside her. I turned human and giggled evern more. "Come on I want you to meet someone." I grabbed her hand and put her on my back. I carried her but I've noticed something for the past few days....she's taller than me. Oh well. I reached our destination and I sat her on the floor and I sat in the middle. "Kayden be nice" she huffed and scoffed a little. When she notices Alex, she tenses up and hides her face in her scarf. "Eek!" I giggled a bit and poked her head. "Alex meet Kayden. Kayden meet Alex" Alex awkwardly waved their hand and Kayden just sat there. I thumped her head and she glared at me. I glared harder and she backed down. "hi," she squeaked, scared to talk. I huffed knowing that this part would be awkward. I decided to go and see how the pets were doing. I walked out of the little hangout place and went to check on the cats.

2 hours later.

     CATS. FUR. PURRING. SOFTNESS. SCRATCHING. BITING.
     Crowley bit my hand and scampered off. I silently weep as I tried to crawl out of the room. But the cats. They wouldn't let me. I wept on the floor as I heard laughing. I looked up to see Alex and Kayden. They were both enjoying my pain and suffering "HELP MEEEE" they laughed harder as the picked their cats up off of my back. I quickly got up and sat on my bed. I hid under my covers and I suddenly heard a meow from beside me. I looked over and Bubbles was staring at me. I jumped out of bed abruptly and ran out of the room.

Kayden Pov
I laugh and grin at Alex. We actually have a lot in common and they were kind, despite my origins and race, which is comforting. And we are a great team, especially when it comes to teasing addy. There are some people here who still give me dirty looks. I hold Crowley, who protests angrily against my grip. His claws dig into my arm and I wince. Ouch. I sigh and put him down, sparing my forearms. I yawn. It's impossible for me to get good sleep nowadays. Speaking of, it's almost lights out. I stretch. "Sorry for the awkward first impressions. I was worried about addy and I wasn't thinking." I scratch the back of my head nervously. "Welp I'm heading to bed. Tell addy goodnight for me." Alex walks out of the room, without a sound. My head begins to throb. I yawn again as I lay on a bed. Whether it's my side of the room or not, it doesn't matter. I'm tired and I just wish to lay down. I groan as Crowley steps on my stomach. This cat. I curl up, making him move. Rude. I fall asleep to the sound of Crowley's purring and soft rain outside.
