"Yep I can't believe we're finally done!" You exclaimed as you and your friends raised your glasses up towards the ceiling in cheer. You had finally done it, you had finally graduated from medical school and are now on tract to finding your dream job!

"Guys, we should be quiet, this isn't those types of bars" you friend Minha whispered as she glanced behind her towards a group of men wearing dark clothing. You followed her gaze and noticed they seemed like the type you didn't want to mess with. There were seven of them and each had noticeable tattoos and lip piercings.

"I wouldn't try an mess with them little missy" the bartender whispered as he leaned towards the group. He was a fairly older man with specks of white hair on his otherwise perfectly dyed black hair. He also wore round spectacles that resembled that of Harry's from Harry Potter.

"Their known to be pretty big in the underworld. You see that young one with those Saint Laurent shades and a rose vine tattoo across his neck? He seems to be the boss and from what I heard he just returned after taking down the biggest gang in America" the bartender continued to whisper and you tried your best not to look at the group.

"We'll keep that in mind, thank you for informing us" your friend EunSoo mumbled as she paid the bartender her part of the tab.

Just then your phone started to vibrate, causing you to jolt up. You placed your index finger on your lips and made a hushing motion in hopes that your friends don't make it obvious you were in a bar. Your parents had always been over protective of you and if they found out you were drinking at a bar with your friends instead of in the library studying you would surely be shipped to a boarding school for adults in some far away place.

"Mom?" You mumbled as you nervously glanced around the bar, hoping they didn't follow you in.

"Sweetie, can you come home soon? I know you're studying now, but we have some important news!" She excalimed from the other end causing you to almost go deaf with how loud she had said the last part.

"S-sure, I'll be home soon. Let me just grab the bus or ask a friend for a ride" you muttered as you clicked the end call button and grabbed your bags. "Sorry guys, it's my mom" you groaned as you rolled your eyes.

"I can give you a ride if you want, it'll be better that way anyways" Minha advised as she stood up from the table, accidentally knocking over her chair. The whole bar went silent as everyone turned their heads towards your table. At that moment you could literally hear a pin drop. The way everyone was staring at you and your friends reminded you of those old Texan cowboy movies.

You gasped as you made eye contact with the man the bartender had warned you about. You could literally feel your soul leaving your body as his eyes pierced into your own.

"S-sorry" you stuttered as you grabbed Minha and practically ran out the door towards her car. Minha didn't say a word, but followed. Even she knew just how dangerous those guys were and like you she was probably afraid that they would come after the two of you and kill you.

Minha didn't even wait for you to put on your seat belt as she turned on her engine and drove off. The two of you drove along in silence, no doubt trying to calm your beating heart. Within a few minutes you had arrived at your home, but you still felt the adernaline in your viens.

"If you see anything suspicious call the police right away!" You warned as you got out of Minha's car. Minha nodded her head and you watched as she drove off in case those men were following her. Once she was out of sight your turned around and walked through your front door only to be greeted by your mom who seemed to be in an oddly good mood.

"Y/N! I'm glad you made it so soon! Did you call Minha? Nevermind, it doesn't matter! I have great news for you and I also bought you a dress, Remember the Jeon family from when you were a child? They heard you had graduated and had a man deliver this dress for you" your mom exclaimed as she handed you a large grey box tied in a red ribbon.

"I don't remember them, but I remember the pictures you showed me. Didn't we loose contact with them a while back?" You ask as you tilted your head in confusion. You had to admit, the last memory you had of the Jeon family was from a picture your mother had shown you a few years back. You remembered her teasing you at that time about being the little boy's fiancee.

"Well it doesn't matter anyways, you'll meet them tonight for dinner! So hurry up and change. I just got off the phone with her and she should be here any moment to pick us up to meet your fiancee, aka her son! Isn't it exciting? He just came back from America after completing his studies" At your mother's words the box you were carrying toppled to the ground. The loud thud as it hit the ground echoed throughout the silent hallways.

You remained motionless trying to figure out what had just happened. You glanced at the table besides you and grabbed your mother's key. "What are you talking about? Fiancee? You've got to be kidding me! There is no way I'm going to marry a complete stranger!" You exclaimed as you backed away towards the front door.

"Y/N, it was something we decided at his birth. You know the Jeons were best friends of your father and I. When Jungkook was born we decided to arrange for the two of you to get married when you graduated from college. I know he's younger than you, but it shouldn't matter in this day and age. I'm sure he's a good boy" your mother tried to reason with you as you clutched the keys of your mother's car in your hand. You didn't know how to drive, but you weren't going to let that stop you from running away.

You had barely graduated from college and started looking for jobs, everything was going smoothly but then this happened. Mrs. Jeon who you hadn't even remembered had called your mother saying that her son had returned from America after completing his studies. Your mother, who hated seeing her friends' children get married off into wealthy households decided that it was time to make your engagement official.

And now, here you were in the verge of running away. Being the independent woman you were, marriage was the last thing on your mind. You were more focused on your career and finding a job, you weren't just about to let it all go and pop out children with a man you knew nothing about!

"Y/N calm down, I already accepted the dress so there is no way you're going to run away! Plus, I heard her son owns a hospital! This is perfect for you! I mean who is going to hire someone with no experience like you?!" Your mother started to chuckle at herself as she yanked the keys from your hands.

"Sweetie, he's a sweet boy I'm sure. His father is handsome and his mother is a beauty, Jungkook is sure to not be lacking. Just give it a go, I mean how much longer are you going to be single for? Don't you feel bad when you see your friends with their boyfriends or husbands? I just want what's best for you and I'm sure Jungkook will treat you well" your mother tried to persuade you, but to no avail.

"If you go against this I'm taking your credit cards and sending you back to live with your cousins. You don't want that do you?" She hissed as she picked the box up from the ground and handed it back to you.

🔫🔫

You glared the entire time you were at the restaurant waiting for Jungkook and his mother. After a few minutes after you had arrived, Ms. Jeon entered with a box of chocolate. Your mom nudged you and narrowed her eyes causing you to groan in annoyance.

You stood up and mustered up a fake smile towards Ms. Jeon. "It's a pleasure to see you" you chimmed, trying your best to hold in your anger.

"It's been so long dear Y/N. I could hardly recognize you! This is my-" Ms. Jeon was cut off as she glanced behind her. "Ah, he must have forgotten his scarf!" she continued causing you to tilt you head. You wondered why someone would be wearing a scarf in the middle of the summer.

"Ah there he is!" Ms. Jeon exclaimed as you felt your heart sink. Each step he took sounded as if Godzilla was walking towards you. A wide smirk was plastured on his face as his eyes burned into yours. It was him... It was the man from the bar.

A chill ran down your spine as he gave you a friendly smile. He had something sinister planned as revenge and you knew it!

"My name is Jungkook, it's nice to meet you after all this time" Jungkook muttered as he extended his hand towards you. Your mother nudgged your side causing you to jolt up and take his hand in yours. "I-it's a pl-pleasure to meet you af-after all this time" you stuttered.

You were left in a daze when he suddenly tightened his grip on your hand and pulled you towards him. A chill ran down your spin as you felt his cold breath tickle your ear.

"It's nice to see you again, little kitten..."
