Chapter 11 - Camisado

Abaddon’s POV

I felt someone move in my arm which made me stir from my restless sleep. I didn’t know if I should welcome the interference for waking me from the dream or dread it since it only brought back the uneasy feeling she left behind. I frowned slightly at the movement but was still too asleep to care until I felt it again. I opened my eyes slowly only to come face to face with a sleeping figure.

This jolted me awake, “What the-“ but was cut off by my falling off the bed, quite painfully I might add. I sat up slowly rubbing my head before a smell hit me, making me realize who was in my bed. Slightly confused, and grumpy, I decided to wake her up, “Hey…wake up.” I said while shaking her softly.

She moved slightly before grabbing my hand and bringing me back on the bed, “No. You sleep instead.” She mumbled while scooting closer.

I was about to listen when I remembered why I was up in the first place, “Wait, what are you doing?” I asked in a sharp whisper not really knowing why I was whispering.

“I’m TRYING to sleep.” She snaps back turning away from me. I raised an eyebrow at that.

Did she not know whose bed she’s sleeping in or what, “Oh I’m sorry princess, but last time I checked this is my bed.” I say while laying on my side facing her.

She turned around and faced me clearly annoyed with me waking her, “Abaddon. It is 5 in the morning on a Saturday. Go. To. Sleep.” She said slowly, “And I’m here because after the talk from yesterday we both fell asleep on the couch and I brought you to bed and decided to just crash okay? Now let me sleep.” She said narrowing her eyes at me.

“Still trying to tell me what to do?” I asked smugly, just to try and get under her skin for once.

She continued to stare at me, “Abaddon…” she said in a warning tone which made me chuckle a bit.

“Okay okay go to sleep.” I say as I sit up. After the long conversation we had yesterday, I found it easier to talk to her seeing she wasn’t the perfect girl she makes herself out to me. She had skeletons in her closet almost as painful as mine. Besides, there’s was one thing we had in common that really got me the most.

“Where are you going?” she asks lifting herself up a bit

I slipped my shirt off along with my pants well aware that she was watching, “Out for a run, I’ll be back in a bit. Feel free to raid the fridge or leave if you want.” I tell her.

I was about to stand when she pulls me down, kissing my cheek, “I’ll wait.” She says letting me go. I just nod and head out the window in my room that faced the woods, running quickly into the trees while quickly shifting. As soon as my paws hit the dirt I took off with inhuman speed. My muscles relaxing and contracting as I pushed myself to go faster. I didn’t know where I was going but I didn’t care, I just needed to run. There were a lot of things on my mind. For one, Azrael’s changes in attitude around me set me off but I know it’s because she’s my other half, or maybe it’s because of something else? I honestly I don’t know and it sucks I have no one to vent to for this shit. I mean seriously, when did thing become so complicated.

The moment you were kicked out of your pack.

Great now I’m answering my own questions. Frustrated with myself I kept running, occasionally pushing myself off trees to gain air. After a few minutes of running I stopped and looked up at the sun slowly rising, lighting up the darken sky. I stood there and as a scent hit my nose so I followed it. I made my way past a few trees and right away I came in clear view of a house. I groaned but in my wolf form it came out as a small whine. In all that running I had come to Katherine’s house without thinking. I stared at the house as a small pang of sadness hit me.
