A Nelson the Cat and his DANK Adventures 3 Special!

"Is there a cure?" asked father.

"I'm afraid not... I'm sorry," replied the doctor.

Father stood there in shock. He only had a few days left with his wife until she died.

"Come on. Let's go home and spend as much time with the kids as possible," said mother.

The two of them left the hospital to go to their castle.

"Hey, you okay?" Father asked.

"Well, everyone has to die someday, right?"

"Right..."

*swing!*

"Tobuscus, Kityan! We're back!" Yelled father.

Prince Tobuscus and Princess Kityan cane running down the grand white stairs.

"Mommy!" Kityan cheered.

"Daddy!" Tobuscus cheered.

They all embraced into a group hug.

"So," Tobuscus said, "did you get a cure?"

"What!?" Father yelled in surprise. They never mentioned her illness to anyone but each other and the doctors.

"Yeah, I heard you and mommy talking about it last night before I came in to hug you goodnight," Tobuscus explained.

"I told him not to eavesdrop," Kityan said.

"Tobuscus, it was nothing. Mommy's fine. You miss heard," father said.

"Promise?" Tobuscus asked.

Father hesitated for a second, but then replied,

"Yes. Promise."

"Pinky promise?" Tobuscus asked, holding out his furry pinky.

Father latched onto his small pinky.

He looked at mother, then shook.

"Pinky promise," father and Tobuscus said.

"What about the kitten?" Kityan asked, "is he okay?"

"Yes, sweetheart. He'll be born any day now," mother explained.

That night, after father and mother finished tucking their children into bed, they went out onto their balcony.

"It's a beautiful night," father said.

"Why'd you tell Tobuscus I was okay? You just made it worse for them when I die. They'll see you as a liar."

"They won't. Because I know we'll figure out something," father replied.

Mother put a paw on her baby bump, and laid her head on father's shoulder.

"You really are a dreamer..."
