Aihara showdown part 1

OKAY SO! This next one will be in parts because it ended up being like.. REALLY long 🤣 oops anyway, enjoy! 

*Mei*

She had her call with Himeko hours prior, and was now studying her notes from the week as she didn't know what else to do. Many hours passed like this and before she knew it she was being called for dinner. Mei packed her books up and went to the dining room, sitting down she noticed her grandfathers absence. "Where is grandfather today?" Mei asked the maid.

"He has a business meeting today, and he will be home late, I'm afraid he will be very busy for the next week, so you won't be able to see him until next weekend dear." Mei sighed, "is there something you needed to speak with him about? I could possibly relay a message?"

"No I don't believe so, just gets a little lonely in this house.." the maid smiled sadly.

"Why don't you go and visit your family? I'm sure your step mother and sister miss you!"

"I believe they are busy this week... " Mei lied, she didn't want to tell her much about what was going on, not yet anyway. She finished her dinner and went off to shower and head to bed, she fell asleep holding kumagoro, tear stains on her cheeks.

*Shō*

After getting off the phone with his wife, he called his old childhood home. His fathers maid answered, "Aihara residence, how can I help you?"

"Yes hello, this is Shō Aihara, I'm looking for my father." His voice was cold and you could hear his anger rising.

"Hello young master Aihara, I'm sorry but he's not here right now, he's on his way back from some business stuff he had to deal with, can I take a message and have him call you in the morning?"

"No need to call back, just inform my father I'll be needing to speak with him about some matters that have been brought to my attention within the week. "
