The Launch

BACK AT IT AGAIN!! Hello my darlings, here is the next chapter I do hope you enjoy

*Ume*

The alarm she set the night prior went off, the clock read 5:30, "Shō wake up, there's just enough time to get ready and leave before Yuzu wakes up!" She nudged the man awake. "Hurry," with one loud snore, Shō woke up with a start, "IM UP, I SWEAR IM AWAKE!" Shaking himself, "Okay, let's get started!"

Ume was already finished getting dressed and went to make breakfast by the time Shō had gotten out of the shower. She made three servings and left a note on one, the man and woman ate their breakfast quietly and washed their dishes. Packing their stuff they needed for the day, they were out the door by 6:15 am, a good quarter of an hour before Yuzu would need to be awake.

"Do you have your phone?" Ume asked, "you need to remember it, so ou can call me and tell me who is coming so I can prepare dinner. Yuzu should be home around 6:30 after basketball. Make sure to.."

"Ume I know, I got it covered, I'll text or call with updates." He paused briefly, "speaking of, I need to call my fathers house and make sure he is ready as well. Have a good day darling and I'll see you at crunch time." He flashed a bright smile and she couldn't help but return it.

"Yes we better see you later!" She called after him cause he was already walking away and had his phone up to his ear. She chuckled to herself, "what a guy" she thought, and moved along about her part of the plan.

*Shō*

Walking away from his ex wife, he had his cellphone out withi seconds and saw it was 6:20 in the morning, he needed to set up his first meeting soon. He dialled his fathers house and to no surprise, got not his dad, but the maid.

"Aihara residence how can I help you?" She said oddly cheerful for this early in the morning.

"Yes good morning, this is Shō Aihara, I need to speak with my father, I have urgent business to attend with him. Is he awake yet?"

"Why good morning Shō! Yes master Aihara is awake, however he just sat down to breakfast with your daughter, shall I have him call you back? Or should I just schedule you in to see him today?"

"Actually," Shō said, "That's perfect, just let him know I'll be by the school around 10:30 and that I need my daughter to meet with me as well, I have yet to see her since coming home and I have business with her. I will want that meeting after that so maybe 2:00 if possible.So, if you could do that for me and make arrangements, I would be very grateful."

The maid had a smile in her voice, "ahh yes, of course young master Shō I will let him know promptly."

"Thank you very much, I must take my leave as I have much to do, I do hope you have a good day, good bye." Hanging up the phone he had a rush of pride, as he almost checked off two items from his list of things he needed to do and he had only left the house a short 5 minutes before.

Next item he needed to attend, calling Matsuri, and making sure she let the others know their plan starts today, and will be carried out soon. Shō knew she always had her phone on her so she should answer fairly quickly.

He called the pink haired girl, and it rang only once before he heard, "Good morning Shō senpai, what can I do for you?"

"Excellent response time my dear, I just called to tell you that we will gather tonight, and that I will take care of everything on my end today before school let's out. I just need you to keep Yuzuchan out of the house for a little longer than me, mine and Ume's part will take a little longer than I thought originally, I want it to go perfectly."

"That shouldn't be a problem, I have a very good feeling Mei won't deny the request forms I had Himeko hand her, she can be very persuasive, and I'm pretty sure she would have even resorted to guilting Mei into it if things started to get rough, this was all her plan to begin with after all." Matsuri stated matter-of-factly.

"I'll just ask Yuzu to stay with me to practice a little extra since we will be joining later than everyone else did, I just need you to tell me when I can let her go home. I already planned with Harumi and Himeko to pick me up after we split ways. So we will all be there for the big "surprise".. I'll make sure to let the others know today at school" she looked at her clock, "ahh, speaking of, I gotta Jett Shō, ill catch you later today." And she hung up.

"Two items done" thought Shō, "now next is... ahh yes.. update, number one. "

He sent a text to his ex that read, " TWO ITEMS DOWN! TWO HALFWAY THERE! IM OWNING THIS PLAN!!"

Moments later, "Excellent, so the girls will all be there?" Ume replied.

"Still need to talk to my dad, but so far 3/4 will be! AND Yuzu will be home later than me, Matsuri has that covered too. A meeting is set with my father and I'll have him bring in Mei to talk with her while I'm there before she does her rounds after school. Will update again after that."

"Perfect, great job Shō."

"Thank you darling."

Shō looked at his phone, "I gotta get going," he thought to himself. He had just 40 minutes before he was meeting his father. Putting his phone away he started his walk to the school, each step he got a little more and more excited, only evident by his smirk and the bounce in his step. He was finally able to do something right by his daughter.
