"See what else I'll break"

So I've been lay and haven't posted anything but now I'm here again! I hope all of you enjoy this, here we go!!

*Yuzu*

Yuzu and the officer she was sent off with who's was introduced to her as Mimi Kogori, the first female officer she had seen that day had arrived at the school within 8 minutes, which meant she only had 22 left minus the 8 minute drive back. "Crap only 14 minutes to search for and find it." Yuzu started to feel her Adrenalin

Pumping as she ran through the halls to the council office and threw open the door. Mimi caught up with Yuzu and said " wow kid, you're determined. Here I'll help you look." And so they started searching. Yuzu realized then that she shouldn't have left her alone in the office when she carried out Mei, "she had to have hidden it at that time." She mentally hit herself. They searched everywhere, under the flower pots and in them, in Meis desk, on top of the door frame in the cabinets, she almost lost track of time, luckily officer Mimi said, "hey kid we gotta hurry we only have 2 minutes if we will make it back in time!"

"Shit!" Yuzu exclaimed out loud. "Where could it be!" Then she had a thought, "hey officer Mimi, can you turn off the lights and let me see your flashlight?" She complied handing the light to Yuzu and quickly shut off the lights. Yuzu got on the floor with the light and used it to look under cabinets and in dark corners. She almost lost hope when she saw a flash of silver in the far corner behind Meis desk. "I GOT IT!" She said joyfully. The officer turned on the lights and walked over to the corner to pick it up before Yuzu yelled "STOP! We need gloves so no one else's prints get on it!" The officer smiled, "smart thinking Yuzu!" She gloved her right hand and reached for the knife, looking at the clock Yuzu saw she only had 7 minutes left. "We gotta go now!" And they ran for the front doors, jumping in the car they took off.

*at the station*

Yuzu ran in and straight to the front desk where officer Kenji waited. "We have it! Don't let her leave!" Kenji looked distressed. "She just left 5 minutes ago.. her father called his lawyer and got her out early.. im sorry kid.. we will find her don't worry, we have the evidence now so all we need to do is rush the DNA test and we will have her. I'll make sure to send an officer to her house and have them pick her up again." Yuzu felt herself tense up, "you mean you didn't send her with an officer? She didn't get escorted home?!?" Panic rose on yuzus chest, "I need to get to the hospital, now. She tried once and I have a feeling she would have made it happen if I didn't burst in." Ume had been shocked into silence, but had finally found her voice. "Yuzu let's go, we need to get there quickly," officer Mimi walked up, "Hey kid, need a police escort?" Nodding they all left and rushed to the hospital. Mimi led them to her cruiser and jumped in, taking off she turned on her lights and had her sirens blaring, Yuzu heard her call back to them "Less than 5 minutes away," she waited in panic.

The minutes seemed to pass so slowly, but they reached their destination in less than 5 minutes, Yuzu silently thanked the officer for speeding a little and made a mental note to actually thank her later. Officer Mimi, Ume and Yuzu all ran into the hospital, Yuzu went running off and went straight for Meis room while Ume and Mimi explained the situation the the nurses at the desk. Yuzu was once again grateful for the officer escorting them and though it was still visiting hours, she was sure people would be staring awkwardly at her if she came running in herself. Just as she reached the room she walked through the door and to her horror Natsume was standing much too close to Mei who was barely awake, trying to figure out what was happening.

Natsume was mid sentence, "I missed my chance at the school but thanks to my father and his lawyer I'm here now to finish what I started, so little Mei, you can leave now." She had moved closer to Mei completely transfixed in the task she wanted to complete that she didn't see or hear Yuzu Enter the room. She saw Meis eyes widen in shock when she finally saw who was standing before her that her mouth opened in a silent scream. Yuzu dashed forward and grabbed Natsume by the shoulders using all of her strength, threw her at the metal door frame, hard. An audible "crunch" was heard as she hit the door frame and she dropped to her knees screaming "my ribs! You bitch you broke my ribs!" Yuzu stood between Mei and Natsume using her body as a human shield, "try to tough her again, and find out what else I'll break." Yuzu said with such malice in her voice that natsume stood up and backed away slowly out the door while clutching her ribs.

"This isn't over Mei Aihara! I will get you!" Not paying attention she backed right into officer Mimi who stood 2 inches taller then her, she grabbed Natsume by the wrists and put her against the wall to cuff her. "Actually, it's quite over if I do say so myself, what about you Yuzu?" Making the blond smile, "oh absolutely, Mimi, I'd say it's very much done." Natsume cried out, "she attacked me, she broke my rib-OUCH!" Yuzu barely held back her laughter as officer Mimi slightly pressed the girl against the wall harder jostling her injured rib cage, she looked at Yuzu and smiled. "Now! Back to the station with you! See ya later Yuzu, Ume, and ahh, the famous Mei. I'll talk to the nurses and ask them to let you two stay a little later then visiting hours." She looked at Yuzu who was now holding Meis hand endearingly and smiled. She turned and they all heard her on her radio, "this is officer Mimi, suspect in Aihara attack in custody. I'm coming back now." And she was out of ear shot.

*Mei*

Mei looked at Yuzu, "that's twice in one day you saved me," she smiled with tears in her eyes, "to be honest I thought she would succeed this time.. I didn't know what to do, Yuzu.. I.. I thought I was gunna die, and all I could think about was you.." she hid her face from sight as tears started to fall down her face. Yuzu places her hand on Meis cheek and turning her back, She looked deep in her eyes and said, "I will never allow that to happen, Mei, I love you." She leaned forward and kissed her deeply, "you should rest, I'll be back in the morning to pick you up, and I'll be damned if anyone will stop me. Goodnight Mei, my love, sleep well." With one last kiss from Yuzu, and a long hug from Ume, the two women left the room so Mei could sleep.
