Over the next few weeks it became a routine for the two, Mei would get up, and wake Yuzu. Watching her while she dressed they grabbed their lunches and the girls would leave for school. Himeko and Harumi would meet up with them and Mei would spend some time updating Himeko about how Yuzu was progressing. It usually wasn't much more than a glance at her "Yuzu style" or a subconscious reaching for it and coming back to reality. They would continue on their way to school and go on about their days, meeting up well after school due to Meis council work and Yuzus club practice, they'd walk home together.

Until one day, three weeks later, Mei woke up early to find Yuzu already out of bed. "Huh?" Mei said to herself. "Where is Yuzu?" She got dressed and walked out to find their mother in the kitchen, "morning mother, where is Yuzu?" Her mother looked at her and smiled, "Morning dear, Yuzu should just be arriving back home from morning training, I think she's taking her club even more seriously." Moments later Yuzu came in the door, Mei looked over and said," Morning early bird, I you're leaving early like that let me know? I was worried about you when I woke up to find I was alone. "

"Ahh sorry Mei! I didn't really plan it, I just woke up earlier and felt the urge to exercise for my club... I've been feeling pretty good lately." Mei. Nodded, "well that's good then, just remember to let me know before you leave so I know when to expect you home safe. Now go shower and get ready for school! Let's not be late on a productive day such as this." She smiled and gently pushed Yuzu towards the bathroom. "Okay I'll be out soon!" And off she went. Mei stood there for a moment looking at where she disappeared too, "this is good." Mei thought as she couldn't help but smile. By the time Yuzu was done Ume was gone and they left a little early to be able to take their time. Mei notes the appearance of the bow and smiled.

*Yuzu*

"So um.. Mei?" The blond said to the raven haired girl, "I have a basketball game on Saturday and I was wondering..." Mei knew what she was asking, "of course I'll be there Yuzu, besides I have to make sure Natsume doesn't steal a kiss from you again." Mei have Yuzu a playful nudge and a smirk, "you know, I've seen how the team members look at you.. you've gotten even more toned since the last time we.. well since I saw YOU last." Mei had emphasized the you so that her point would get across. Yuzu chuckled, "I wouldn't know I'm too busy looking at you all the time." Mei blushed as Yuzu punctuated her sentence with a kiss to Meis cheek.

"OHHHHH MEI-MEI!!!" Both girls stopped and it was seconds before they almost got ran down by an approaching Himeko, "good morning prez!!! How are you?!? And good morning Yuzu!" Mei just smiled at her friend, "take a look at Yuzu and see how I am." Himeko turned slowly, "Okay but I don't see why you ca- YUZU YOUR BOW?!? ITS BACK!!"

They both smiled while looking at Himeko. "Woah now what's all the commotion abo-" Harumi had promptly shown up and stopped mid sentence to smile and have one tear slide from her eye, "you.. it's.. Man I love that bow."

The girls traveled to school in comfortable silence, all four of them ready to split when they got to the gate. "See you later." Everyone had said smiling at each other, both sets of girls turning around to walk away. Harumi spun back around quickly grabbing the sleeve of Meis jacket and pulling her into a hug. "I don't know what you're doing but thank you, the old Yuzu is finally coming back. I know you've been watching over her more than usual the past weeks.. so just.. thank you."Harumi promptly let go and turned back to her friend, leaving Mei shocked but happy at the same time.

"You Okay Mei-Mei?" Himeko asked her friend, "Yes I'm.. im great actually Himeko." Mei stated. They headed off to do their jobs and begin school.
