*Yuzu*

There was five minutes left on the clock and Yuzu had done exceptionally well for points, this time she had 80 personal points, Matsuri had 36 the rest of the team had a collective 40 points, With the exception of Natsume who had seemed to be off her game. "You okay captain?" Asked Yuzu, she responded with a small and tight nod "just finish the game." After she looked towards the bleachers where the spectators were sitting she seemed to tense and then she ran off after the ball. "What's eating her?" Yuzu thought and then shrugged it off, she was standing off to the sidelines waiting to hear her coach call for a sub, and she didn't wait long as she was back in the game for the remaining two minutes of gameplay.

Her coach shouted "NATSUME SUB YUZU GO!!" And she was off running down the court to her end cause that's where the ball currently was. She ran full tilt and leaped into the air as she approached her net. "I'll take that thanks," she caught the ball before it reached the rim and landed neatly, "MATSURI GO!" Yuzu yelled as she passed it and ran off up court. "YUZU HERE!" Matsuri returned the ball, and planting one foot she pivoted getting a better angle, "let's see it this works." She shot the ball, and just as it looked like it was going in it rolled over to the other side. The clock had five seconds left, the crowd from the opponents school chanted, "5, 4, 3, 2..."

*Mei*

Mei had been on the edge of her seat the whole time she was watching the game, she watched Yuzu sub in and take off after the ball, leaping into the air and landing perfectly with it I. Her hands. "MATSURI GO!" She yelled and took off again before she stopped in front of the net and matsuri returned it with "YUZU HERE!" Yuzu moved around keeping on foot on the floor and swivelling with the other. "I have to ask Yuzu what that's called" making a mental note she refocused just in time to see the clock say 8 seconds remaining. Looking back to Yuzu she saw her shoot the ball which looked like it was going in but within that last split second, it rolled on the hoop and headed toward the other side. The away teams spectators started chanting while Mei saw Matsuri running off the court and a rather tall girl bolting towards the hoop, Yuzu, and the still rolling ball. "5, 4, 3, 2," The girl reaches the hoop and jumped at thee last second, grabbed the ball and gently threw it into the hoop. The ball came out the bottom as the buzzer signalling the end of game rang out. Mei jumped up, "YES!" She yelled, and headed towards the team as they were all shaking hands and saying good game.

Reaching the bottom of the bleachers, Mei stood back as she waited for Yuzu to greet her after the game. She was standing far enough back that no one noticed someone grab Mei from behind covering her mouth so she couldn't scream. "Hello little bitch, we need to have a small.. conversation," They punctuated their statement by pulling out a switch blade and flicking it open. "Come, let's talk."

*Yuzu*

Yuzu was heading towards the locker rooms after cleaning up the chairs both teams had been using to sit on when they weren't playing, when she thought she saw something silver flash in the light by the bleachers. Shaking her head, "nah, I'm just tired and seeing things," she said to herself and continued to the locker room. "Where's Mei?" She wondered, "Ahh! Probably in her office doing that paperwork!"

She walked in to hear, "has anyone seen the captain? I haven't seen her since she got subbed out in the last 2 minutes." Then a collective "no" came from everyone. "Hey Yuzu, where's Mei? I thought I saw her waiting outside the locker room by the bleachers but when I walked over she was gone?" Yuzu stopped, "wait.. you mean they're both gone?" Everyone nodded. "I'll be right back guys.. I just have to check something.." Yuzu bolted from the room and went straight for the student council office. She heard voices inside, but she couldn't make out what they were saying.

*Mei*

"So what exactly do you want to say that involves you needing a knife on school property.... Natsume senpai?" Mei asked in her president voice. "Well you see, you seem to be hanging around Yuzuchan more often now, and she doesn't even pay me any attention outside of drills in practice for the club. I want to know what you did to make her ignore me, Miss president." Natsume spoke in a demeaning tone, "she has finally started flirting with me and then since you interrupted us in the locker room that one day I've gotten nothing from her. Also don't lie to me, cause I will be angry." Mei almost smiled but remembered that she had a knife and thought better of it. "If you must know, Yuzu and I are together, Natsume. So I would greatly appreciate you backing off of my girlfriend."

She was shocked into silence for a minute, "you are sisters though! You're lying to me!" She started moving towards Mei with the switch blade in hand. "If you need to be convinced, I'll also tell you this, our parents got divorced for this reason. Long story short she is mine." Mei stood up and noticed someone's familiar shadow outside the door through the frosted window, "Yuzu help." She silently prayed. " and if you don't believe me ask Yuzu herself." Natsume stopped and smiled, "or I can just get you out of my way now and take her when she needs support.. who knows.. maybe you left again." She started walking towards Mei again holding the knife towards the raven haired girl, "Oh shit" thought Mei. "HELP!" She screamed.

Natsume lunges causing Mei to fall back and hit her head on the bookshelf behind her. She fell to the floor just as she heard the door burst open, "Yuzu, I'm sor-."

Mei blacked out.
