The table was silent. Everyone was just eating, and no one wanted to know what had happened during the day, May had come in with tears in her eyes, and Layla looked like she had seen a ghost. I was deep in thought, and Paul and Drew were just arguing anytime the other talked. Gary felt partly responsible for everything that happened, and Max was confused.
"So has anyone talked to Ash recently?" Professor Oak asked, trying to issue a conversation. Everyone shook their heads, and that was the end of that conversation.
"So how was your training Drew?" May asked and Drew shrugged. Another conversation ended. This was making Dawn slightly annoyed.
"Can we PLEASE have an actual conversation? You guys are driving me insane!" She said loudly, and everyone sighed and nodded, and yet no one spoke up.
"I'm walking outside." Layla said, and she went out. Drew followed, but as soon as he went outside he went to train his Pokemon.
"I want to catch some strong Pokemon." Paul said, and now he was gone. The table now consisted of May, Dawn, me, Gary, and Professor Oak.
"I think I should train... And Dawn, you should too." May said, and together they left the table to Gary, Oak, and me.
"I think I'll go see if I can train." I said, and looked around for everyone.
"I should... Grandpa. I feel so bad..." Gary said, and Professor Oak shook his head.
"You didn't do it; it is one of the things the group have to overcome." He said, and they continued eating.
May and Dawn were practising, talking about everything they learned on their journeys. That was until Layla came, when they decided to show off their Pokemon.
"May..." Drew said, holding a rose and signalling her over. I giggled as they went to a private location, and Dawn held in her own giggle.
"May... I am sorry for making a rookie burst into tears. To make up for it, here is a rose. I can't wait to beat you in the contest." Drew said, and although it didn't sound like Drew, she accepted the rose.
"Ah... Thank you." May said, and watched as he ran off into the forest. Drew might still be feeling unwell, and besides, she still has to help teach Layla. She headed back to where Dawn was preforming alone.

Sorry for the short chapter, but you can guess what happens. Everyone! To Bed!
Do you like the story? If you notice any mistakes, tell me, but you can't change how the story unfolds, because most of it has already been written down by the time you see this. And what do you guys think happened to Drew? (BTW, if Paul is being too soft tell me. I want him to remain mostly the same, until he finally breaks down his defensive barrier.) Love ya all!
