Layla seemed really nervous. I don't know why. She was a natural. Her opponent Reggy had thrown out a Meowth, while her Snivy was out. Layla was doing OK at hiding her nervousness, but she was defiantly not her bubbly self.

"Meowth. Payday." Reggy called out to her companion. Meowth smirked, throwing coins over at Snivy.

"OK Snivy. Leaf storm!" Layla yelled and the coins were thrown back, with both coins and leaves hitting the Meowth. The battle ended with Layla winning, just. It was very close. I looked over as Harley went up, and soon he won. The matches were up, Drew vs Dawn, and Layla vs Harley. I watched as Layla glared at Harley and she settled down to watch Dawn and Drew. I didn't under estimate Dawn's opponent. After beating May like he did, it was obvious his Pokemon were strong. I still can't believe I forgot my Alakzam.

"Piplup, come on out!" Dawn called out and Drew smirked as he brought out Roserade silently.

"Roserade, petal dance!" Drew called out and Dawn clicked. Piplup dodged and fired a whirlpool, which Roserade dodged.

"Piplup, bubble beam!"

"Roserade, magical leaf." The bubbles were knocked to the floor and the leaf hit. Roserade taunted Piplup, who went in for a peck attack. He tripped over a bubble and popped some more. Dawn lost some points.

"Piplup!" Dawn yelled in concern and Piplup pushed himself up. "Now, whirlpool!"

"Roserade, dodge and use solar beam." Piplup fainted and Dawn sighed, returning her Piplup. Drew smirked and he and Roserade bowed before heading back stage. Layla pushed herself up and ran into the battle ground, pulling out Snivy's Pokeball, hiding it behind her back and releasing her Pokemon.

"Saturn my darl, come on out!" Harley called out, releasing his Cacturn. The crowd shivered in fear and Layla smirked.

"Snivy, up and over." Layla commanded and Snivy jumped on her head and back down, making Harley lose points even before a move fired.

"What? OK than, Cacturn! Needle arm!" Harley called out, annoyed that Layla had already stolen points. Layla smiled at the crowd and offered her arm for Snivy, who jumped up and dodged the needle arm.

"Snivy, vine whip on Harley's arm and leaf blade." Layla called out and Snivy seemed to fly to the other side and attacked Cacturn from behind. Harley grew red and glared at the Snivy.

"Grr! Cacturn, use pin missile!" Harley called out and Layla smiled.

"Harley, you've lost. Snivy, leaf tornado around you." Layla said and Snivy protected herself from the pin missile. "Now, tackle!" Suddenly the timer went off and Layla smirked as she saw her win. Then she frowned, realising it meant it was her against Drew. I mean, how can you stay confident against that guy?
