So the week had been going as normal until Friday came around. As always the school day ended slow and painfully, each of us awaiting for the last few minutes of the school day to pass by, Ryan ended up being so impatient he skipped last period in order to make out with Cindy Welsh in the boys locker room. But when we all joined back up at my house, yes we spend most of our time here but that's only because my parents are never home and we could pretty much do whatever we want, and sat lounging around trying to figure out what to do.
"How about a party?" Ryan suggested but was immediatly shrugged off because we already went to one this week and I'm not sure any of the boys could handle another hangover. Besides I'm not the biggest fan of drinking in general but every once and a while I'll let loose. Ryan replied by slumping down into the recliner ignoring us. A permanent pout remained on his face for the rest of our decision making.
"We could go down to the cabin?" Travis conjures up. The cabin was our favorite place in the world. It was a small three bedroom cabin, two bathrooms a kitchen, living room, a game room and to top it all off a jacuzzi a few miles outside of town in the woods with a beach not even a mile away. It was also one of my favorite places in the world.
We all probably would have agreed if it wasn't for the fact that it was pouring rain outside. Cabin in the woods plus rain equals HELL NO! Not to mention Taylor, Adam, Gavin and I all had to be back for the game on saturday night and if we were to go to the cabin it would be for a weekend not a night.
"How about we go bowling!?" Taylor sggested. To all appearences Taylor was reading my mind because I too was thinking bowling would be perfect.
"Just what I was thinking!" I exclaimed reached out to fist pound Taylor who responded suitably. The boys all seemed to be ok with that idea except Ryan who was still pouting from his plae on the recliner. It didn't take us very long to finally push ourselves off of our lazy asses and get ready to leave.
"So what do you say Zara you and I on the same team?" Taylor proposed nudging me with his shoulder as we al exiteed the house. The door locking behind us.
"Yeah know it, we're gonna school these bitches," I bragged giving Taylor a cocky smile. We reached Ryan's car which we all agreed to pile in to. My drive way was big enough to fit six cars so it made no difference that the boys would park their cars in the drive way but most of the time it was just Adam's pick up, Ryan's ford escape, and Nick's blue 2014 Nissan Versa. Taylor and Gavin live to close to even care about driving their cars over, while Ryan Adam and Nick still live really close its not as close as Taylor and Gavin. Travis is no longer with vehicle ever since he accidently got it totaled by falling asleep at the wheel.
"So I don't care who sits where but at least one of you will have to sit in the trunk," Ryan informed opening up the drivers side door to let himself in. It was obvious the Ryan would not be deciding the seating arrangment for us we would have to do it ourselves. Which inveitably turned out to be harder than it seems. I had suggested that Travis sit in back because he was the tallest and would fit nice with all the room. In response to this coment he said that I should do it because I'm smallest and then made a slight comment about how I take up the most amount of room earning his a well deserved smack to the back of the head. Gavin had already decided to slip into shotgun so silently it almost went unnoticed...That boy was like a ninja and sometime it scared me how easily he seemed to moe around. So that left Adam, Travis, Nick, Taylor and I to decide on the rest of the seats. We always managed to squeeze four into the seat and one into the trunk but like always it was a healthy debate on who would be riding in the bed.
"This is getting us no where," I exclaimed my frustration clear as I threw my hands up in defeat.
"We could just take two cars," Adam suggested for the second time. The first time I chose to ignore the comment knowing that Nick was not in the mood to drive and that Adam doesnt have the gas to make it over to the bowling alley and he already confessed to leaving his wallet at home.
