If you listen carefully you can hear
The whisper in the wind tells what is near
Or maybe it's your mind playing tricks on you dear
Because your mind is truly the one thing you should fear
The moon is the only thing giving off light
Even you are dimmer no matter how hard you fight
It's glow seems calming though your fists are held tight
Cuz you can't seem to relax, not even at night
The rain is falling all around you
For every drop, a tear from your eye falls
Or maybe it's a few.
Out here they can't tell the pain you go through
So you like to stay out here for an hour or two
The world around you is sleeping
You're the only one who's awake with a pot of tea called misery steeping
Not a sliver of happiness creeping
So you keep walking and pray for your soul to stop weeping
You never truly realize what's at stake
When ur mind and body is about to break
But just take a second and not be fake
Because A midnight walk is all it will take.
